This review is not necessarily for the Park District itself but rather one of their employees. On 12/1 in late afternoon hours i witnessed one of their reception ladies named Jerrie responding very rudely and unprofessionally to one of the mothers who was there with her kids. Two 4-5 year old kids were running in circles in the main lobby laughing and just being kids. Reception lady Jerrie abruptly got up from her chair and made a comment from behind her desk to the mother "YOUR KIDS ARE MAKING ME NERVOUS". I think this employee should find a different employment if she has such a short fuse and can't stand being around kids. Considering she has this comfy job mainly because parents sign up their kids for various activities through the park district, i think she should be more appreciative and not make such rude comments.
Well run and well maintained with excellent basketball and soccer coaches. My only complaint is the swimming help desk, they just can't respond to any questions, very confusing despite call and visiting in person. I finally managed to figure out the registration process on my own. The park district website is frustrating at best. Would be nice to allow parents to swim with the kids sometime, not just babies.
What a lovely, very clean, diverse community Center! It was beautiful inside and out. The meeting rooms were large, spacious, and very accommodating with comfortable chairs. The carpeting and bathrooms were noteworthy clean. The grounds were beautiful with so many activities offered. This place is just a wonderful blessing.

Actually it should be a 5. It is clean. Friendly. Great facility. My complaint is the cost of punch card. I can not buy a year round pass as will be in and out of town and watching new grandchild quite often. So bought punch card. To swim for less than an hour I pay almost $6.00. That seems too high. But I want to stay healthy so I pay it
