What Parents Say
Children First Child Care Center in Bartlett receives mostly positive feedback, with parents praising the caring and attentive staff, personalized attention to children's needs, and strong communication from leadership. However, a few parents raised concerns about illness transmission and developmental/social skills instruction.
Two of our children currently attend Children First and we will have another starting there shortly. All of the staff have been excellent with our kids! Our daughter started right away at 6 weeks and she has been healthy as can be, besides minor colds. Many of the teachers have offered to babysit at our home and the Director, Miss Beth, has sat with our kids late while we were at the hospital. We are very thankful to have this facility close to our homes and priced at a level that makes it possible for us to afford having all three in daycare.
My son was born 3 months early and while he is developmentally on track (or barely delayed) he has a problem with not eating enough. He is not food motivated at all and therefore is under weight. The staff at Children First have been so helpful and willing to work extra hard with him - at one point even feeding him every 2 hours!! I cannot say enough about how much I've loved having my son in the infant room. All of his teachers love him; but his afternoon teacher, in particular, has loved on him like he was her own son and he loves her, too. It feels good knowing that my baby isn't sitting around crying all day while I'm not there to take care of him.
We have loved the infant room at Children's First. All of the ladies and staff are wonderful and there is always an open line of communication. The director, Ms. Beth, is also wonderful and caring. We highly recommend Children's First.
As a kindergarten teacher, I was highly impressed with the PreK program. My daughter went to Kindergarten reading, adding, fully prepared and even ahead of her class. I highly recommend!
My daughter developed a severe case of strep throat after being in the daycare for 2 1/2 days. I’m questioning the cleanliness of the facility.
