Asbury Methodist Day School

My son has been attending Asbury for over a year now and we all love the school and the teachers and staff! My son has learned so much since attending and loves meeting and playing with his friends and teachers. My family loves that it is faith-based, which was very important to us when choosing a school. I love getting updates and pictures throughout the day, and they're always planning activities and fun days with all of the littles. Our family is growing and we plan on staying here for as long as we can! We highly recommend!

We love Asbury school. My child is so excited to go to school, and always talks about his teachers. The director, Ms. Monica, is very hands-on and you can tell that she loves her career and the children! Instead of hiding in an office she is always at the front interacting with parents and students. We absolutely adore her dedication! The teachers are patient, hardworking, loving, and kind. They are always engaging in different activities with the children while teaching them the curriculum. We also love that it is a faith based school. This was very important to us for our child’s foundation. It is very difficult to choose which school to send your babies to, and while there are other great schools out there Asbury is definitely one of them!

After moving from a different preschool, we’ve seen a remarkable transformation in our child — especially in his communication and social skills. The progress has been both noticeable and encouraging, and we credit this entirely to the incredible environment at Asbury. The staff is consistently attentive, compassionate, and responsive to our child’s individual needs. They’ve created a space where he feels safe, supported, and excited to learn. Every morning, he heads to school with a big smile, which speaks volumes about how much he enjoys being there. We’re so grateful for the care and dedication the team shows every day. We brought our 3 year old to Asbury from another daycare that had a "5 star" Google review rating. Every day we are thankful we made the switch. Do not be influenced by the bad reviews that have no substance. This place deserves better ratings than what is shown. We came from a daycare/school that was completely chaotic and where teachers were overwhelmed with too many kids. Asbury provides a much calmer environment with a reasonable teacher/child ratio. They keep children engaged with a variety of fun and educational activities. They also correct bad behavior. To elaborate, our child was in a place where kids were biting, shoving, hitting, and nothing was done to correct the behavior. Sometimes the teachers did not even know it was happening. I can finally feel like my child is being protected here at Asbury. My child loves to go to school again.

My 1 year old is currently attending and before that both our older kids went there for pre school and summer school. Our older kids still attend Asbury for summer school and they love it too. We couldn’t ask for a better environment for our children. Smaller class sizes and wonderful loving teachers and best of all Christian environment. I don’t understand why some people are leaving 1 star reviews with no explanation. I am sure some people had issues in the past but from my experience with 3 kids we are blessed to have Asbury in our lives. The new director is amazing and all the teachers as well.
