AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Unfortunately this daycare has gone drastically downhill with the new owners, and this is now a bare minimum establishment. As other reviews stated, all of the good teachers immediately quit when new management started and it is now very clear why. Classes are consistently out of ratio, with children of all ages grouped together with 1 single teacher. Meals are literally slop - they serve nachos and ramen for their advertised "healthy meals" for multiple days in a row. My child has come home puking more than once. The app that is supposed to be used for updates is rarely if ever used, so you will have no clue what your child did all day. We used to get daily pictures, now I haven't received a photo of my child in months. If you ask staff how your child was for the day, they will have no clue. They do not have enough staff for the same teachers to be in the same class, meaning there is no consistency or personalized care for the children. You and your child will be treated as a number and nothing more. There are no fun events, enrichment activities, or even themed spirit days for the kids as there used to be. This is the equivalent to a holding cell - your children will be kept alive, but they will be bored, hungry, and they won't be learning a thing. We were out for weeks very sick, and they continued to charge us without asking once where my child was, if she was okay, and when she would be back. Further proof that their only concern is collecting payment. When new ownership began, they purged all toys and decorations, leaving the classes bare and cold. This is not a safe, warm, fun environment for children. I highly encourage anyone considering attending to review the state inspections for this place - pages and pages of repeat major violations. It is terrifying and genuinely surprising they are still in business, especially when there are better CHEAPER options in the area. I feel so sad every day that my child was left in their care. One week in at a new daycare and wow - the difference is truly night and day. Do not give this place your money , that is all they care about. They do NOT care about the kids.

I don't recommend this daycare! in the room my daughter was placed, her teacher wasn't fully communicative, she wouldn't show any interest in letting me know how she was during the day! I walked in once and she had rap music on, and supposedly she had another type of song before that because the babies were dancing. Toddlers should be dancing baby songs, not songs from the radio. I recently changed her daycare and she doesn't cry at all. every time I would take her here, she would cry very badly. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my daughter there. The only thing that is good from here is the kind of food they give them, but yet they don't care if they eat or not.

This is a great center. My daughter goes here and after we saw Anderson there is no where else we would have even considered. The owners are onsite and the teachers are well spoken and care about the children. The overall atmosphere is very calm and positive. They have a great curriculum which begins right in the infant room! The location is amazing, it is one of the only daycare's/ preschools I have ever seen with such a large yard and grass for the kids to play in. This really is a great place ran by people who care.

I gave this place a 5 star. No, it's not because I work here. It's because THEY CARE FOR THE CHILDREN. THEY CARE OF MY CHILDREN. Over the years I have been here there has been a lot of ups and downs; now that there are new owners and a new director, I have seen a drastic change. The teachers are more open and not as closed off. The new director is inviting and friendly. You always see at least the male owner everyday and his wife will show up as well sometimes. It's great to have involved owners who want to work with the staff and director. The building just feels like there has been a weight lifted off of it. It's so relieving. Don't always believe bad reviews that you read on here cause I can tell you first hand most are just lies. So please come on in and see for yourself what Anderson Preparatory is all about, but bare with us when you do, we are rebranding!!!! NEW AND EXCITING THINGS ARE COMING OUR WAY!

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. This place is awful and we are in the process of removing our child from an environment that no loved child should be exposed to: 1. They told us the cups were washed daily, however we checked his cup after a few weeks and there was mold growing. 2. They told us he would have access to water all day long to ensure he stays hydrated. Multiple times per week we pick up our child (over an hour before the school closes) and the water cup has been put away for the day. 3. They told us the food was plentiful and healthy. We realized after the first few days that the reason he was so upset in the evenings at home is that he was not getting enough food, so we had to start to bring our own. Also, included in their healthy meals are cookies, white bread instead of whole grain, hotdogs, and all sorts of other processed food. Newsflash, this is not even close to healthy sustenance. 4. They told us they would put sunscreen on our child for outside playtime, however he has come home with a sunburn multiple times. 5. Twice I have witnessed the teachers encouraging one year olds to stand on their chairs, while other times I have witnessed a one year old go down a 5 foot slide outdoors without adult supervision. 6. Toddlers fall and get bumps and bruises, but twice in the past week ours has come home with substantial injuries that include areas of broken skin almost an inch in length with surrounding bruising and the staff claim ignorance. I refuse to believe that a child with this injury would not scream and wail in pain, so either the staff are willfully withholding details or are so incompetent they don't notice or care. Either way, they are unqualified for watching over children. 7. At each step along the way I have raised my concerns to the staff and management at Anderson Prep and each time they tell me they will address the issue and then fail to do so. 8. There is no consistency with the staff throughout the day. Our child has 4 to 5 different staff watching him over the course of the 8 hours he is there. This provides him with little consistency and requires good communication among the staff, which there is not. Anderson Prep is poorly managed and entirely untruthful about the services they provide on their website. If you must use a daycare, there are plenty of better options than Anderson Prep. I hate myself for allowing my child to stay here as long as I did thinking and hoping it would get better. It didn't.
