Alpha Academy #3

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Alpha Academy #3 From the moment we enrolled our grand daughter we have felt confident and grateful for the high-quality care. The staff and teachers are truly exceptional—they are warm, patient, and clearly love what they do. My grand baby has been attending here for over a year and a half and not once has she ever cried to stay! They treat you like family ! At her age she is very advanced . Communication is great and the facility is kept clean. Love everything about Alpha academy Thank you to the teachers and staff for having patience with her as we know she can be a handful!

I enrolled my son at this center after his previous daycare closed, and I was under significant time pressure, having only two days to find a new facility after attending the previous center for ten years. Initially, the experience was positive. The center’s app provided helpful updates and pictures throughout the day, and the curriculum appeared strong, with my son learning a lot. However, after just two weeks, I began receiving frequent phone calls and messages about my son’s behavior—sometimes up to three calls within a 30-minute period while I was at work. I requested that they inform me of behavior concerns and asked that calls be made only when necessary so I could speak directly with him. Despite this, I often received threats of suspension or immediate pick-up. Many of the behavior issues cited—such as running inside, climbing under tables, and resistance to nap time—are typical developmental behaviors for a three-year-old. Unfortunately, the staff’s approach made me feel as though my son was being unfairly labeled as a problem child. When I enrolled him, I clearly explained that he was high energy and expressed my willingness to collaborate, even suggesting implementing a behavior chart at home. I addressed all concerns respectfully, as I am an educator and understand the importance of partnership for the child’s benefit. My son attended the center for four months before I withdrew him for summer break. At the end of May, I spoke with the assistant to confirm his re-enrollment for the fall, and I was assured he would be welcome. However, upon returning to re-enroll him, the owner informed me that they could not accommodate him, citing behavioral challenges, and therefore he was not accepted. I find this lack of communication over the summer extremely unprofessional. Since transferring to a new daycare, my son’s behavior has improved significantly, consistently receiving positive daily feedback. In summary, this center may be a good fit for children who meet very specific behavioral expectations. However, for parents with active or typically developing children who naturally express energy and curiosity, I would caution against this center unless you are prepared for frequent messages and calls throughout the day.

My son and my family felt welcomed by all the staff at Alpha Academy. They had helped my son with his transition from his past daycare to this one. He really enjoys all the activities he gets to do daily and can’t wait to tell me all about it at pick up time. I really like how they use the Procare App to communicate daily with the parents. I even get to see photos of what he is doing daily. I highly recommend Alpha Academy to anyone looking for a safe daycare with dedicated staff.

Alpha Academy is like a second home for my kids. My kids absolutely love their teachers. Every staff member has always been professional, respectful and caring to my kids. Ms. Yesenia (director), Ms. Iris, Ms. Raquel, Ms. Chasity, Ms. Krissi, Ms. Miranda, Ms. Sarahi, Ms. Macias, they all are amazing. If you’re looking for a good daycare for your kids, I would definitely recommend Alpha Academy to you.

I can’t say enough good things about Alpha Academy #3 in Pasadena. They are wonderful. Parents, this is where you want to send your children. They are so caring it melts my heart. This review is my huge thank you to them. My son is very young and because of the pandemic he spent most of his life just at home with our family and not in a daycare or school setting. There was a short period of time, where we moved out of state and I had him in a daycare in that state. It was ok, but not very remarkable. We moved back to Texas and I needed to find child care again. That’s when I found Alpha Academy #3. Let me tell you, my son likes it so much, if we pass by on the weekend going to the store and he sees the building, he gets excited and wants to go. I have to promise he’ll go soon. In the beginning my son was quiet and shy with the caregivers, of course. I personally was not expecting to be wowed so much, I just hoped to find an ok place to enroll my son. After a short time of getting to know the caregivers, my son was so animated and excited to go. You could tell it is a place that he was very well cared for and that he is learning and having so much. As a parent it is the greatest feeling. Each of the staff is kind and caring. I feel supported with any questions and that they are not rude or condescending. Anytime I interact with any of the staff, they are always kind and happy to assist. Again, I wasn’t expecting to be wowed so much, but I am. They keep me informed about what goes on with my son’s day to day life. They share pictures of the fun he’s having and the learning he’s doing. Other important notes, the center is very clean, they have a great routine as well as fun planned activities for the kids. They have great areas inside and outside to play. They communicate so well with me and coordinate so well amongst themselves, ensuring the kids have the best care. I would recommend this place to anyone. For me, choosing Alpha Academy #3 was the best decision ever.
