I want to give props to one particular teacher, named mikayla(might be spelled different).. I actually liked her, however I don’t recommend this daycare. My son (1yr old) was there for not even 6 months and nearly every single week he came home with a diaper rash. I told them he was allergic to the wipes they use and so I’ve always brought his own wipes in and STILL he was getting diaper rashes! I spoke to director a few times about it and the last time she denied that the teachers were using the wrong wipes(because that’s what they told her) and she even tried to blame me for the things I do for his diaper changes!! I know my son I know what works for him. They also almost gave him the wrong milk as hes lactose intolerant while I was standing there! I had to catch them on it.. who knows when Ive not been there! also within a 2 month period he got bacterial pneumonia and Rsv and stayed sick in between. While i know kids get sick alot, it was excessive. His teacher was the one who told me Rsv was going around and when I talked to the director she denied it, then the next week flyers were posted about it. I also got subsidy and was supposed to be charged a certain amount per week but was being charged 2x as much don’t know why. My son cried every single morning at drop off and now he’s attending a new daycare and ALL these issues seem to be resolved. No crying at drop off, not being charged as much, no rashes, my son is actually happy and sleeping better now! Idk but this place seems shady overall. Something ain’t right!

My family was very weary about sending our little one to daycare, everywhere we looked there was something we didn’t care for about each facility until we found All About Kids! They’re camera system, family oriented staff, personable and helpful directors, were all big green flags for us! Our little one has now been attending for almost 2 years and we have had not one issue and have grown close with everyone at the facility caring for him! The effort put in to safety and truly building healthy relationships with these kids is all I can ask for in a daycare and All About Kids Academy truly supplies that and much more! They are a part of our family!

A number of the staff were pleasant, but I don't recommend this daycare. A lot was wrong or seemed shady. Better than nothing, but management will say one thing and then do another. And i'll say this, they might "do you a favor" but then hold it over your head like it was a miracle and say, "We DID do THIS for you, and we didn't have to." They don't have any medical staff either, so no nurse or med tech. And oddly enough, I requested my daughter not to have Milk. Doctor ordered. They continued to give her milk every single day and for all meals/snacks, even after speaking with the Director. (I simply requested my daughter to be given WATER. Not hard right? There is a sink in the room. They refused.)

I want to start by saying that the one star does not reflect on the staff who directly took care of my daughter. They were always very kind and I could tell that they cared about her, she has a difficult drop off in the morning with lots of crying and clinginess, but the staff always tried to comfort her and make it an easy drop off. In the beginning management was really great, they worked with me with payments, they had really good hours for someone who worked long shifts. However towards the end of almost 2 years of my daughter going here we encountered some pretty major issues that feel extremely shady to me. The first one being that they required a two week notice for my daughter to leave. We thought it was strange but we complied. And then the last week that she attended this daycare we were informed that for 19 weeks we had been getting under billed, and they tried to hit us with about $1,700 worth of charges. For one I don't know what kind of bookkeeping they have but 19 weeks is a very long time to under bill someone. Secondly, we were told if we did not pay the full balance within 30 days we would be taken to small claims court. However in text message the owner admitted to my daughter's dad that she knew they weren't getting paid when he asked. Just seems very convenient that as soon as we put two weeks notice in we get hit with this astronomical bill and I can't help but Wonder how long would they have let this go on had we not put two weeks notice in. Seems almost vindictive to me. Mind you we did not pull our daughter out for any reason in particular other than she had been on a waiting list for another daycare for a very long time and her spot finally came open, because as I stated above we were not dissatisfied with the care that the workers provided, we were however getting very frustrated because this building tends to close a lot for covid flu and weather with little to no warning. Leaving us to scramble trying to find someone to watch her or have to miss work ourselves. And still get billed for days that she wasn't there, because "bad weather days are built into the rate". Again this review is not reflecting poorly on the staff but it does reflect poorly on the owner. Balances are paid through personal venmo accounts, communication is through text message, they had us download an app to get updates about our daughter throughout the day and that lasted a whole week before we stopped getting any updates whatsoever. I think that some people get into the daycare business because they truly love children however the owner of this establishment clearly could care less about the children and is more in it for profit and trying to use covid and miscommunication from the state to try and squeeze an extra $1,700 out of working class families.

If your child has any challenging behaviors such as sensory seeking or is easily over-stimulated this isn't the daycare for your child. They will neglect your child. When you have therapist come in to work with your child they don't follow any of their suggestions or recommendations to help your child. They don't communicate that there's even an issue. My child was kicked out via text message instead of having a face to face conversation with me. The staff would tell me that my son had a good day and then I'm told different in the text removing him. Either the staff lied or the director and owner did. I didn't have incident reports for 2 months then magically his last 3 days (after being informed he was no longer going to be able to attend after that week) I received 9 on his last day. I tried calling them the night I received the text messages and they refused to answer the phone or call me back. Every time I asked or brought something up in text messages I was given another excuse. This was handled very unprofessionally and I lost all respect for this daycare. They wrote my son off without giving the therapy a chance to work. I'm still struggling to find daycare for my son and it has set him back because he doesn't understand why he can't go there anymore. He misses Abbey very much. She was amazing with him and they had a great bond. I won't recommend this place to anyone after the treatment we received.
