A.E.S.D.#68 - Alhambra Preschool Programs

My review is based off the office staff. From social worker, nurse to receptionist. When I enrolled my son into preschool everything went well up until he was a month into school. All of sudden he is needing a physical exam as well as dental exam but no biggie I went ahead and did what was required. Side note all this should have been told to me the day I enrolled him into preschool as this is required for enrollment but they didn’t nor did they provide any documents (I would have taken care of it). He was not allowed to go back to school due to his physical and dental exam missing. Have they told me to get this done the day I enrolled him and have provided the forms that needed to be signed off by doctor he wouldn’t have missed school. It would have been all done and taken care of. I had to go back to the doctors office 3x all because they didn’t specify exactly what they wanted filled out on these forms. Mind you I’m a working parent. I have provided the nurse my sons medication to have at school just in case of an emergency. That was another nightmare! My sons medication indicated to use nebulizer for 30 days as NEEDED and just because it says 30 days they were trying to say it was expired and they needed a new one. Mind you the medication that they had was still NEW and NOT expired since he hasn’t used it. It’s only suppose to be used as NEEDED. When I first gave the nurse his medicine I made sure that she confirmed that his medicine description was okay. I get a call before winter break saying that there was issue with his Medicine description because it says 30 days. I had been dealing with this since September 2024 and we are in 2025. It’s the lack of communication and Inconveniency. They are also so inconsiderate of your time . However, I would give the teachers a 5 star review. They are amazing and always make my son feel welcomed and loved. That is the only reason why I have my son still enrolled in Alhambra preschool academy.

I absolutely love this school. My daughter is doing so so good. She is in Preschool and already learning how to read... I couldn't be happier, the teachers are great leaders...

Before it was a preschool, it was Andalucia Middle School. I was the last class to promote from that school in 2018. I loved it. I'm sad that it's closed.

13 years ago I use to go to school before it was a preschool it use to be called Andalucia middle school I left the school when the semester ended in December 2009 and moved to another state
