This is an amazing Child Care center. They treat all of the kids like their own and they eat good too!!! My niece and nephew absolutely love and adore this place and we always recommend other families to send their kids here. I truly adore the owner and other staff members. I would leave my kids with them at anytime!

We’ve been apart of the first step to greatness family going on 8 years! My children really enjoy coming here and learning so much as well as all the fun activities!! They really treat us like family! I couldn’t ask for a better more secure daycare!!!

I love 1st step to greatness daycare. I would give more stars if it was available. My children have been going here for years and still attend after school. I toured different daycare facilities and spoke with the staff before I made my decision to place my children in a family owned business who didn’t just care about taking my money. For the parents who did not wish to take the tour to see where your child will be, make sure you take advantage of that opportunity at the next daycare you place your child in. Every daycare offers a tour of their facility. That’s your responsibility to know where your child will be and with whom they will be in care of. The staff and owner cares about every single child that is placed in their care as if they were their own. They are clean, structured, caring, respectable, reliable and dependable people. They take the children on trips and have many activities such as the Fire truck coming out to the daycare for the children. The staff educates the children, help with social skills, teaches the children how to respect one another, etc. They take the time to cook home cooked meals for these children that live in our community that attend this daycare. For some children this may be their last meal of the day. They give back to the community and assist parents when they can. Even if it’s a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen. I recommend this daycare to everyone who needs to place their children in the hands of people they can trust and count on. I support black owned businesses that do right by their community and by people and you should too!!

I just want to say thank you for all that you and your staff have been doing with/for my kids. My son is doing so well with his numbers and now recognizing his letters!! Also the potty training. I’m am forever grateful. My daughter is having such an amazing summer vacation because of you guys. So thanks again 🥰🥰 you’re doing a FANTASTIC JOB!!!🙌

My 4 young children attend this center and I haven't had the issues that others are stating. My infants have never been in the same diaper all day, the staff actually gave helpful tips on how to clear up my daughter's diaper rash and it did indeed clear. I have never been told I can't go back to get my children or can't go see their classroom environment and no I'm not a family member or friend. The meals are kosher which was hard to find in a daycare and they are home cooked and not package processed foods so my children can be healthy. My son has asthma and on one occasion the owner took him to the hospital when I could not be reached at work of course I felt terrible I was not there personally but the staff shows caring for the kids and treats them as important and vauble future leaders of society. I don't have unrealistic expectations of what a daycare should or would be and am very happy with the care my children receive there and have no worries with my children in the care of 1st step to greatness.
