The facility is noted for its quality programs including swim lessons, swim team opportunities, and summer camp, with strong community involvement and accessibility features.
Awesome swim lessons. Great instructors. Beautiful pool. Shallow enough for beginners. Lap lanes. Life guards on duty. Decent yearly membership price.
Had a lovely experience here. 5 stars across the board! The staff were all amazing today starting with the front office staff (go bills!) To the lifeguard, Dan who both helped me get all of the necessary equipment for my friend who uses a wheelchair to enter and exit the pool. Very welcoming and loving people. It was a great way to start my week.
Absolutely amazing experience with these ladies! Very professional, and welcoming. I had the pleasure to attend the first pie lab/Ywca cooking class with chef Matt Timberlake, it was absolutely amazing! I support this non profit through and through. 10/10 experience!
It was my first time. Painless process to schedule and to check in Atmosphere was good xi! Much more friendlier, inviting and inclusive than other locations. Water temp was perfect. Good mix of age groups and ppl swimming laps or just a water workout without hassle.
*This review is regarding the Tot Spot program at the YWCA facility.* I enrolled my daughter in the part time program back in June and have already put in our notice to leave. I chose this program because I know of others who have used it as a stepping stone to regular school. I guess I should have asked why none of them continued it for very long. Almost right away I started seeing red flags. Walking the halls, you can hear teachers yelling at and scolding children. Young, young children too. No faculty seem to be bothered by it but I am, and I addressed it with the front desk. I've picked her up from school before and she had no pull up on! Both my daughter's teachers left their jobs at the exact same time so that left little room for a smooth transition into another class. The thing that bothers me the most is that I have to pay for days she doesn't attend. I'm not talking about when she's sick, I'm talking about observed holidays and faculty meeting days when the children have no school. We are still responsible for paying a full week. I don't see how paying for days she can't even attend is fair. When my concerns were addressed with the admin, their response was, "it's just our policy." I wouldn't recommend this program unless you receive vouchers so you don't have to worry about budgetting it out of your paycheck. I will say its pretty cheap compared to some of the other programs around but beware!
