My daughter loves it here. The school is small enough where the classes are geared towards individual attention for each student. This is so important for children of preschool age and hard to find. The teachers are all warm and welcoming. I feel comfortable sending my child here as it is play based but they still have learned so much. By age 3 my child was counting in Spanish, spelling her name and learning about everything from different calendar holidays to how plants grow. They also make wonderful crafts which are sent home frequently. We love it here!
We were very lucky to be able to send both of our kids to YSA for their preschool experiences. The small classes, great teachers, and their philosophy/ approach to learning made them happy to go to school and they were/are more than ready for Kindergarten!
Amazing all around!! Not only are teachers and staff are caring and supportive of each student and their progress/development but the curriculum and content are excellent as well. I had total peace of mind when I dropped of my son here every morning and will miss all the amazing faculty that helped shape his pre-k years. Can’t say enough good things! Teri L. has run the program here for many years and it is evident that she truly cares for the well being and education of each student at YSA.
We were very apprehensive about sending our 2.5 year old anywhere, but the staff were phenomenal! Our daughter came home every day talking about her class, her new friends, what they learned in class that day (songs they sang, books they read, crafts they did, what everyone had for snack). By the end of the school year, she had grown so much! The teachers went above and beyond to really engage with each child and to plan activities for them that helped their development.
My little ones really enjoyed their time at YSA preschool. The teachers are warm and loving. They were prepared for Kindergarten and enjoyed their experience.
