What Parents Say

Young Achievers Learning Center has extremely polarized reviews. Some parents praise recent improvements under new management including cleanliness, security, staff care in the infant program, and facility upgrades. However, multiple parents report serious concerns about director leadership, staff inconsistency, neglectful care practices, and a focus on fees over child welfare.

My daughter is in the infant program & I am very happy with their care over her. She’s 9 months out & when I am dropping her off in the morning she is smiling & excited when she sees her care givers (their are 2 aids who watch 6 babies in a separate building). She’s grown a secure bond with who watches her & that shows me she is safely & properly being taken care of. They do safe tummy time & interact with helping developing motor skills & aiding milestones. A new center director has recently taken over in May & a lot of these past reviews aren’t even relevant to a new restructuring I have watched with my own eyes (upgrading the essentials in the classrooms, children’s toys, baby bouncers, baby play matts, outside toys). They’re EXTREMELY HYGIENIC, no kidding they disinfect everything in the classrooms and daycare rooms every single day & you can smell it if you happen to be picking up your child before closing hours. They also have security codes to get in & out of the building with a whole outside playground fenced around making a huge area for their kids to run, play & explore. I personally have grown to love the care my daughter has & I say that honestly because through the transitions it was rocky. As long as your expectations are realistic this is a clean, safe, reasonable & respectable center. Thank you to all the hard work put into bettering the center, to the staff for great care over my first borne & the center director for working patiently with me! 🤍

Director is horrible. Very insensitive and have no patience for children. Teachers are great and the building is great. If they can get rid of the director they would get 5 stars. Please don't ignore other reviews! I did and got the same experience. My son cried for an hr due to him never attending school, and they called and wanted me to pick him up. Next day the exact same thing happened. Each time i picked him up, he was not crying. He was sad but not crying. Director told me that he was not ready for school and kicked him out. I took him to Rosies playschool and they were extremely loving, naturing and patient with him. Within three days he was totally comfortable. He is in Kindergarten now reading at a 4th grade level. In a nutshell, director has no patience or compassion for children. She is doing this for the money!

DO NOT bring your child infant or toddler to this school. They’ll leave your child with a filled diaper for hours until you come then try to fix it, on top of that they have a new teacher in each class every other day that me & multiple parents have complained about. Some teenagers with no knowledge about children. The “director” that yet has to own the DIRECTOR title doesn’t do anything about any issues & just is glad to have that title behind her name🤦🏽‍♀️

This place has been much better since they brought the new Director Miss Tonia on board, highly recommend this place!
