What Parents Say
YMCA - Twin Falls receives mostly positive reviews praising staff compassion, fitness equipment, and childcare services. However, some parents report operational issues including inconsistent opening hours and staff punctuality, and one serious concern about child safety protocols and building access during winter.
Great staff for childcare while parents work out! The staff are COMPASSIONATE AND OUTSTANDING. The gym equipment is great. I love the Zumba with the Filipina woman who leads it. I can’t remember her name. My only suggestion is an indoor playground equipment INSIDE the YMCA for rainy days for kids to run around and play tag and climb (fit families is the goal after all). YOGA = Highly suggest their yoga here. Thanks, YMCA, for being on top of it!
This place looks just as good as when it was the ymca. I believe the new name is good. I like it as much as ymca. Because they both better than planet fitness or club apple in Idaho falls because E street and ymca are both good places and provides fair treatment. That's why it's another great gym.
The YMCA of Twin Falls is a big supporter of a family oriented gym. You can be sure to find Amazing workout equipment, Great classes, Wonderful child care services and many other programs. Not to mention how fantastic all the fitness instructors, youth staff and all other employees are.
Love the swimming pool and classes available for my daughter, can't wait for my newborn to go also. Well kept gym and common areas, keep it up.
Honestly had the worst experience here, Spoke about my disabled son attending the Kids Summer camp 3 weeks prior and they were all up for it. Said they didn’t have a problem with kids who have disabilities.. LIES. Dropped Off my kids here on their first day, I spoke with 3 different people about my son, basically asking if they had any questions before I handed him off, I gave them his backpack which had diapers and wipes, gave them my son silly cup and asked if they had any questions. They were all smiles and told me they had everything under control basically. I was there for 15 mins because my older kid was nervous to stay with the bigger kids. I left and was on my way to work. Not even 10 mins later they called me and told me I had to pick up my kid because he wasn’t potty trained and he couldn’t attend the program. Honestly it was a waste of my time, I told the manager how i was finding a day camp or kids care for my kids before summer, he assured me that my disabled son would be accepted. They were quick to take my money, but in honesty they didn’t even give my son a chance, they said because he wasn’t potty trained. Throughout the whole time you guys could have let me know? Through those 15 mins, they couldn’t have told me? It was honestly disrespectful. No one apologized. I picked up my kid and they didn’t even say a word to me, i honestly felt the discrimination for my son because he was disabled. Worst experience ever!
