So this is going to be lengthy to read. I have never had my kids in daycare, and with my last, if I wanted to work I basically had to. I was already uncomfortable and nervous about it, just because I find it hard to trust others i do not know with my children. I was excited when this place was taking children due to the fact that now a days it's genuinely very complicated to find openings, i paid the full time price. He was only there max 3 days a week, it was a last resort thing. If my family or husband worked and couldn't help I'd take him. I chose to pay full price just in case I ever needed to take extra time at work. First 2 days. I would pick my son up from daycare and he had DRIED poop all over his butt, this caused a very nasty rash. I alerted staff there, and asked them to monitor him a little more due to his rash and please apply his ointment. This is when they told me they had a diaper log if I'd like to see it, and if I notice he is poppy when I show up to get him I can ask for him to be changed. At first this made me feel uneasy, why tell me to look at a diaper log when I'm only asking for him to be checked more frequently until his rash was gone? Also, my sons poop can literally make a whole room stink.. so I am not sure how I'm the only one to notice that? So I thanked them for the information, not wanting to cause issues and thinking that my fears of daycare were just coming up. Second issues that came up. My son had an accident at home, and had to get stitched. I was concerned about taking him to daycare because I didn't want any other kids trying to touch them, he had a runny nose. Just alot of germ concerns. I had no choice i had to work, so i took him and asked if they could just try to make sure he gets his nose wipes or at least just away from the stitches. I picked him up and boogers were coating his stitches. Again, I was upset but I can see how it's hard to keep a toddler wiped and cleaned. I know there are many other kids. I get it. I just thought it was a reasonable request. My final straw, was picking my son up and seeing him in a room out on the back porch, the room was big enough for the highchair he was in alone. (Not kidding) he was asleep in the highchair, with the inside door closed. When I expressed i was uncomfortable and didn't like seeing him like that and just my concerns on why he was in that room alone in a highchair, I was told he wouldn't take a nap, and the door wasn't fully closed so that should make it okay. Children shouldn't be left unattended in a highchair for starters. And the door was closed enough for the young lady who went to get him to turn that door nob to open it. I told them my issues and why I was leaving and that I'd pay for the one week, and never received word back for over a month. Now keep in mind all this was over a month span. I wouldn't recommend this daycare to anyone at all.

I have had 3 children attend this daycare at different times. Joni and her staff are amazing and on top of every aspect of the care of the children. I am always pleasantly surprised with how they treat my babies.
