Ymca Early Learning Center - Lakeside Chi

The teachers here are amazing and interact so positively with the children. My son looks forward to going each and every day. He is always excited to tell me about what they did in "school." They make sure kids get plenty of outside time to burn off energy, but also read books and complete activities to keep them mentally engaged. The staff really does care about the kids in their room, and it makes a world of difference in the care they provide. My son has attended a total of 4 daycares, and this is by far the best.

We are constantly recommending Lakeside YMCA ELC to anyone who will listen. We weren't expecting our son to learn so much while he was just a baby - but they are so great about working with the kids and it shows. He can communicate well with sign language (I sure didn't teach him that!) and he LOVES to "sing" the songs they sing at daycare and dance along. The cost is right in line with other West Omaha centers, but I feel like it is a hidden gem. The other centers we toured felt crowded and cluttered, I have never felt that way about Lakeside. We are so grateful to have found a center with such caring and kind teachers. Our lives wouldn't be the same without Mrs. Paula, Mrs. Kayla, Ms. Kerry, and Ms. Marietta.

It’s very educational. I believe it’ll help our children become well prepared for when they integrate into the school system and help them to excel.
