Ymca Early Learning Center - Bergan Chi

Bergan Early Learning Center has been an incredible place for my son! From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The teachers are not only highly professional but also genuinely caring, creating a nurturing environment where my son has thrived. The center's curriculum is thoughtfully designed, blending educational activities with fun and engaging play. I've been so impressed with how much my son has learned, from early literacy skills to important social interactions. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure each child's individual needs are met, providing personalized attention that has made a significant difference in my son's development. Beyond the excellent care and education, the sense of community at Bergan Early Learning Center is truly special. Regular events and open communication keep parents involved and informed, making us feel like part of a big family. I highly recommend Bergan Early Learning Center to any parent looking for a safe, supportive, and enriching daycare experience.

I had a rather disappointing experience with the YMCA Early Learning Daycare Center. As a mother, I prioritize my child’s well-being and happiness above all else, and sadly, this daycare didn’t live up to my expectations. First and foremost, communication was a significant issue. There were times when I had concerns or questions about my child’s day, and it felt like pulling teeth to get any information from the staff. In an environment where parents should feel comfortable and informed, this was deeply frustrating. Furthermore, my child’s overall experience at the daycare center left much to be desired. They seemed unhappy and reluctant to go each morning, which was a red flag for me. I want my child to look forward to their time in daycare, knowing they are safe and having fun, but that wasn’t the case here. I believe that a daycare center should provide a nurturing and engaging environment for children, fostering their development and happiness. Sadly, I didn’t see that happening at the YMCA Early Learning Daycare Center. I sincerely hope that the daycare center takes this feedback to heart and works on improving the quality of care and communication with parents. Every child deserves a positive and enriching daycare experience, and I believe there’s room for growth and enhancement in this regard.

Our daughter has been going here for over a year and a half after switching from another daycare (poor experience) and we are so happy we made the switch. Keri and Jen are very organized and the staff is so friendly. Our daughter is excited to go here every day and she has learned so much with most of the credit going to her teachers (shoutout to Peggy, Lacey, and Carmen). They have navigated the Covid challenges well all while still providing quality and reliable care. The app they use helps you feel connected with what your child is doing while you work. I highly recommend this daycare center. We will be so sad when we leave!

I cannot even begin to fully express how thankful I am for YMCA Bergan and how I am constantly impressed. Everyone is experiencing staff shortages, especially daycares and honestly you can’t even tell with how this daycare operates. They are extremely put together, WONDERFUL with their communication (both the directors and the teachers) and are on top of sanitation. Which is difficult to find in a building full of kiddos. I have no complaints. Those around me would describe me as critical and hard to please. My expectations are pretty high and I have never even a little doubted this place. I am constantly impressed with how they run things. I have 2 children, one in younger pre K and the other in older pre K and both Ms Amy and Ms Monica are phenomenal human beings who don’t just come to work to clock in and clock out. They truly have a passion for what they do and my kids hands down get the best education. I truly believe they are being set up for success when they go to grade school. From someone who ran a daycare, worked in multiple daycare centers around Omaha and was a professional nanny for many years. This is HANDS DOWN the best center in Omaha. Everyone here is so kind and has helped my family and I in so many ways. No matter where I move, I will drive out of my way to bring all my kiddos here.

The teachers really care about the kids. And our kids are learning new things every week. Would highly recommend!
