Ymca Childcare- Gale Ranch Preschool

I don’t normally leave reviews, but after living here for almost two years, I felt it was time. We’ve had mixed experiences in the past, particularly with communication and inappropriate comments from maintenance leadership, which hasn’t always felt professional or welcoming. That said, the teamwork and professionalism shown by Chase and Miguel truly stood out and motivated me to share this. Within 20 minutes of our call, Chase had already sent out maintenance technician Miguel, which was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Miguel arrived, immediately put on booties to protect our floors, and went above and beyond both inside and outside the unit. His craftsmanship installing the new kitchen light was excellent, and he left everything sparkling clean afterward. Miguel was personable, professional, and extremely thorough. Their attention to detail and positive attitude made a real difference. We are so appreciative of the management team and Miguel for fixing our kitchen light.

Just moved in and was greeted by a wonderful Chase who helped tremendously! He answered all questions I had with knowledge, approached my concerns in a very timely manner, always calls back when he misses a call, a stand up gentleman, and very kind. As humans , we have our flaws; but I know a good human when I meet one. I’m definitely loving this place more and more as it is conveniently located right next to a grocery store and gas station also many other things in the same plaza, down the street from a nice park where my children can play, and down the street from a great school. Worst place ive ever lived. Unprofessional and the manager feels to be a slum lord. Maintenance was never willing to fix anything until I threatened legal action. Mice infestation that led to my dog getting sick. I was hit with lease violations because of a work bench when every neighbor has bikes, grills and other items that are apparently "against policy". Now I have a unit inspection all out of retaliation. Claudia and Chase refuse to give me corporates contact number so I can talk with them myself. They mamage this property poorly with unused cars everywhere, people smoking weed, dog dropping everywhere but won't do anything but once you upset them they'll go after you hard. They've made mine and my families life absolute hell. I have even asked to be released from my lease due to non stop maintenance and pest issues (mice, roaches, earwigs, spiders and flies) and was denied. I cant wait for my lease to be done with. Even though the place wasnt liveable when we moved in im sure they'll keep our deposit claiming we did it. Avoid this place at all cost.

I lived in this apartment for 11 years, and I’m truly grateful for the role it played in our lives. It provided safety and stability during a very delicate time in our journey, and I’ll always appreciate that. The location was incredibly convenient, pool, right next to Safeway, Bishop Ranch, Central Park, beautiful hiking trails, parks, pet friendly, well kept playgrounds all around, and amazing schools. Management and Maintenance team was always on point and responsive, they handled requests quickly and professionally, which made a big difference. It was the perfect place to raise my boys, and we created so many wonderful memories here. Although it was hard to say goodbye, we needed more space for our family. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Maintenance requests are often ignored or very slow. Children play unsafely in the parking lot, sometimes scratching cars, and the office is often empty, so getting help is difficult. Management is unresponsive and safety is lacking.
