What Parents Say
Reviews are overwhelmingly positive about this YMCA facility, with members praising the clean environment, friendly and knowledgeable staff, quality fitness classes, and good value. However, these reviews appear to be for the gym/fitness center rather than the childcare program specifically. One parent noted initial challenges with nursing and baby-changing facilities, though the facility subsequently added private changing areas to address these concerns.
The Silver Sneakers instructors are GREAT, especially Tuesdays class. And, Celeste, who teaches Chair Yoga and offers meditation is stellar. Her classes are well thought out, fun and energetic. BEST Chair Yoga teacher ever!!!
Went to tour this facility today and was very underwhelmed. For the price they’re asking for memberships and enrollment fees, they need to do some serious renovating. There’s no formal front desk. Staff members are sitting at tables to check people in. The layout is choppy. Cardio is downstairs, strength training is upstairs? One of the childcare staff members didn’t look or seem pleasant at all. Carpet in locker rooms? The young lady that helped me at the front desk was pleasant and I do like their hours which is why I decided to tour in the first place but I’ll pass.
Great place to work out. The staff is awesome. It's always clean. Large parking lot.
Great morning workout 💪 👌 🙌. Burning over 800 calories in one hour four mile Mountain climb.
First time signing up fpr ymca. 1st ill start with the process was not at all easy to register yourself it felt like it took forever. 2nd thing every room you walk into has many rules, restrictions and some you even have to sign in. Takes a whole 5-7 minutes to be able to sign in each time for swimming area. They test you before and the girl wanted to test again which my kids had al ready done so, sounded crazy they had to test again and again.I put my foot down and made sure she looked at her notes to make sure my kids names where on there. She still kept going for minute about what she had to do to let them in and like i said ridiculous if im telling you look their names up... 3rd, The family swimming was what i enjoyed best with the kids BUT that also had so much more restrictions and only certain amount of time youre given in the middle of the day 12-3pm wish it was more so in the morning or more so the evening at least youd know what you can do for the rest of youre weekend so that was a super stretch for us to be able to make it those specific times. Just be ready to be greeted with many signs and sign ins and registrations, and many limitations. It was a bummer.
