Ymca Asp At Tucker Recreation Center

The Tucker Rec Center camp is HORRIBLE under the new directors! This camp has been our home and felt as such for the last 5 years, but unfortunately with new management Stacey Harris & Sara Holmes, I WOULD NOT SEMD YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!! My daughter has special needs and was just kicked out of fall break camp & told she could not return for summer camp. Which is fine because I’m tired of her being mistreated by people who should NOT be working with children! I am appalled by the lack of professionalism these “professionals” displayed today. Since Ms. Molly & Mrs. Cassie left, this camp is no longer the fun, home it has been for so many years. Since my daughter’s disability keeps her federally protected & reminded management of this, I was told that their lawyer said it didn’t matter! Why are you speaking to a lawyer about kicking a child out, unless you know you’re doing something wrong? I will be handling this and fighting for not only my child, but for ALL of our kiddos. Please reconsider before putting your kids in camp at Tucker Rec

They offer senior programs that are wonderful at little or no cost. Great volunteers and staff that organize enjoyable outings, lunch and learn, exercise classes and general wellness.

The TRC is a great place for people to connect. From pickleball to watercolor classes, to Mahjong and more, there's something for everyone here. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and supportive. We're lucky to have the Rec Center in Tucker!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Tucker Recreation Center, and I must say that my experience was greatly enhanced by the outstanding service provided by Tamika King Jordan. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that Tamika was committed to creating a welcoming and vibrant environment for everyone. Tamika's professionalism stood out immediately—she greeted me with a warm smile and was genuinely eager to assist. Her knowledge about the facilities, programs, and events going on at the center was impressive, and she took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. It was evident that she takes great pride in her work and is dedicated to ensuring that all visitors feel valued and informed. Beyond her professionalism, I was particularly struck by the cleanliness and organization of the facility. Tamika and her team work tirelessly to maintain a hygienic and tidy environment, making it a pleasure to enjoy the various amenities the center has to offer. The spaces are well-kept, and it’s clear that a lot of effort goes into maintaining the overall atmosphere. Moreover, Tamika has created a friendly and inclusive environment that encourages community engagement. Her enthusiasm for the programs offered at Tucker Recreation Center is contagious, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about the well-being and happiness of the people who come through the doors. In summary, my experience at the Tucker Recreation Center was truly enhanced by Tamika King Jordan’s exemplary service, professionalism, and dedication to maintaining a clean and inviting space. I highly recommend visiting the center—especially if you have the chance to be helped by Tamika! She is a true asset to the community.
