Wonderful place! I have been coming here since I was a kid; moving from the pool to the workout area and it is still amazing. Recommend to anyone who doesn't want to be bothered at the gym and wants to focus on actually working out. 15 or so treadmills and a lot of other machines. Kind and professional staff. Can't praise this YMCA enough!

Don’t go swimming much at the Y. But there is absolutely no reason for the locker rooms to be incredibly cold from the pool area. It’s about 32 degrees. My kids had purple lips by the time we they got dressed. If it’s for the fitness folks, it’s not fair to the swimmers to feel like they are walking outside in freezing temps.

I’ve been going to Amburst YMCA every day for over a year, and I think it’s about time I write a review for them. What I love about this place is that it’s not just a gym — it’s a true community. The people who work here are amazing and so welcoming. Everyone says “good morning,” from the person collecting trash in the parking lot to the front desk staff and even instructors whose classes I haven’t taken yet. I really enjoy joining the group exercise classes, especially Anna’s classes. She’s the director of this branch, and her workouts are always awesome and different every day. You never know what’s coming next! Today was extra fun because everyone dressed up for Halloween. Actually, they celebrate all month long, not just on Halloween day. It’s so much fun to see people doing burpees in skirts, bear crawls while holding teddy bears, and working out in all kinds of costumes. Last week was my birthday, and they made me feel so special. It’s not just the regulars, everyone here is included and made to feel welcome. Another thing I really appreciate is how well they manage the youth sports programs. They often group kids who go to the same school together, which helps them make friends early. My son met friends before kindergarten because of the YMCA program! I could go on and on about how amazing Amburst YMCA is. I truly love going there every day. Happy Halloween! 🎃

We love the weight lifting program for youth that is offered at the ymca. We love the pool for sun water workouts also.

Let be swim aerobics- miss Candace but love most of the classes. Super nice employees and enjoy getting to chat with other attendees
