Yellow Creek Day Care

My dad is buried in the cemetery across the street from Yellowcreek CR 38 and I just wanted to comment how well the cemetery and the church is kept up. If Doug is the grounds keeper he is doing a great job. Also, I would like to speak to the pastor about something.

My family attended a wonderful Christmas Eve service there yesterday. The sanctuary and service were excellent. The joy of Christ's birth was palpable. As first-time guests, we felt particularly comfortable and welcomed. The ushers did a good job. We also appreciated the personable conversation with the pastor and his spouse. Overall, it's a good church. Lots of friendly people who are willing to go out of their way to help and genuinely care/love God and the community. People pray for each other and reach out in very generous ways. "Make a joyful noise." That they do. I wish there was more song variety (seriously, there's not too many new songs introduced), but the worship seems genuine to me. Of course no church is perfect, but this church is a pretty good one. I personally wish it had more contemporary songs on the playlist so to speak, hymns are sung a lot. But I guess it's not such a big deal when the people and environment are as they are.

Always have a great time here when visiting with my family. We’re from out of town and have visited multiple times.
