This was unfortunately my first experience with child care, so if some of these complaints seem trite to some, please keep that in mind. This place was nothing but a complete disaster. Dealing with the most unprofessional, unpleasant, owner of a business that I have ever had the misfortune to meet was an absolute nightmare. Every single time I walked into this place I was met with dirty looks and silence from the owner Candy. I had no idea who she was at the time, as I was not present for the tour when we signed our daughter up. So the very first time I walked into the business I was able to walk through the entire facility to find where my daughter was being watched, pick her up out of her high chair, put her coat on, and begin to walk out before anyone employed there said a single word to me. This was a huge safety concern for me because anyone in the world could have come in the place and done the same thing. I voiced my concern to one of the employees who said they knew I was coming that day and assumed I was her father. To be fair a few weeks later her uncle needed to pick her up for us, and he was questioned. Another big issue is the accounting practices that this Candy uses. She constantly claims that accounts are short, refuses to provide proof, and then refuses to give refunds when due. The last straw was when we verified with the State of Indiana that she was overcharging us, provided the proof, and were immediately told that the State was wrong and that she wasn't giving us any kind of refund. In addition she began shouting and swearing (using the F word) loudly in front of the of children, staff, and parents in the room. At this point she began aggressively putting her hands on my fiancé telling her we were not ever welcome back and to get our things. Candy absolutely lost it when provided with proof that she has been cheating clients out of money. I tried to call to speak with her about this incident I was only able to leave a message asking her to call me back, but of course this call was never returned. I tried the next day to call as well, and again was met with the voicemail system. The only good thing I can say about this place was how well Ms. Kelly did with my daughter. Save your self the constant headaches and find somewhere else to take your child!
