World Of Knowledge Child Development Center

The owner of this daycare, Dawn, is truly a wonderful person. I have never met someone so dedicated to her business and so invested not only in the children who attend her daycare, but also in their parents. I have worked in many daycares that struggle to support children with disabilities or behavioral challenges. Dawn is different. She works with every child and does not simply send them home or remove them from care. She takes the time to get to the root of the issue and figure out what is really going on. The recent one-star reviews circulating are completely untrue and do not reflect who Dawn is as an owner or a person. Updated review: My son attended this center for 4 years total. It is much more than a daycare, my son was more than ready for kindergarten because of his preschool and prek teachers and the curriculum they follow along with their everyday schedule. They have lots of fun with the open ended toys and two outside times a day. They don't get much of either in Kindergarten so he definitely misses it. Thanks to them he was writing, identifying all leters and numbers and more, and he had the social skills, listening skills, social emotional skills and independence kindergarten asks for. Couldn't be more grateful for them and recommend this center to everyone who wants quality childcare and not a babysitter! My son has been attending the daycare for 2 yrs so far. I recieve a weekly lesson plan from his teacher and a weekly class newsletter and a daily sheet, all of it is digital! They always keep a consistent routine, nap time and his teachers were very helpful in helping potty train him! I also love that they have fresh fruit every single day at lunch. Communication is great, you can just send teachers or the director a message through the app. Teachers are always interacting with the children and never have phones out. They get multiple outside times too. My son is Hispanic and there is diversity in the center but they also include diversity in the toys (baby dolls, people toys, books, posters) which is nice to see. Definitely recommend the center!

I can not thank this daycare enough. My daughter was a problem child, and she has done a complete 180 from a previous daycare. The staff in the caterpillar room are so patient and understanding with her. Good structure and organization.

I would recommend this daycare to anyone, my son has only been to two daycares since he was born. The first daycare disappointed us in every way, their turn over rate was high, the staff were constantly on their phones (to the point where they wouldn’t notice when a parent walked into the class) and my son never enjoyed going to daycare. My son is so excited to play with his friends at World Of Knowledge, we are always happily greeted by the director, assistant director and/ or his teachers in his classroom. I have yet to see a staff member in the classroom not completely engaged with the children. My son tells me about all his friends, what he learned about that day and shows me his art work when it gets sent home. This daycare always surpasses my expectations I never worry about leaving my son there. I would and do recommend world of knowledge to all of my friends!

My 2 grand children have came a long way since we started 1 year ago. Hands on play time and lots of outside play time. The learning centers and curriculum are awesome.
