Parents praise the dedicated teachers and caring environment, with children enjoying the after-school program. However, there are serious safety concerns regarding child supervision during field trips, with at least one incident involving a lost child at a zoo.
The reason for this rating is because on Friday, April 21 2023 at 2:30 pm, A group of unknown parents including myself stayed with a very young girl, at the Franklin Zoo Park for over 35 minutes, in order to keep her safe, until other parents could find the school chaperones. The child was crying, and was lost. This was a dangerous mistake. Chaperones were found, and were brought to where the child was. We were all horrified by the incident.
This is a service organization with teachers and principals that are often volunteers or parents of students. We are very fortunate to have enough interest in the Chinese culture and language to sustain such organizations in the area.
This school is horrible, if your kid is lost, no teacher care about it, and the school does not have any responsibility. Don’t put your kids in this school if you care about their safety.
My daughter enjoys attending their after school program. The teacher is great.
