A work out can be had here. It needs some TLC. Exercise equipment is good, needs maintenance and cushion repair. Swimsuit "spinner" is perpetually out of order and only located in the shared hallway rather than one in each locker room. Locker rooms are clean--but bleach solution isn't properly diluted and may cause breathing issues. Hot tub is large and hot, but the jets aren't calibrated or something, they just shoot straight up instead of toward the center of the water. It doesn't feel good in your nose or eyes. Almost all the lockers are rented. Should be a max allowance for rented lockers.

Wilson offers a variety of classes and equipment to help reach your goals. The staff members are helpful, encouraging, and friendly! My only regret is that I didn't join sooner.

The Wilson Family YMCA is one of my family’s go to place to workout and have fun! We love that we can go and there is so much to do and be part of. My partner wakes up early to play basketball. The outside pool is awesome. There are two splash pads, a slide separate from main pool, and a toddler pool. There are also two inside pools and a jacuzzi. Currently my son is attending swim lessons and playing baseball. When we go to workout we leave my seven year old at the kids gym. They are very organized and friendly. It’s is worth the $80 membership especially if you have a a lot of kids. That membership includes two adults and 6 dependents.

I enjoy coming to the Wilson Y. The staff at the front desk greet you with a smile. You're sure to run into someone you know. The instructors are professional and a joy to be around, especially the body pump and pilates instructors! Even when I Don want to go I go. I leave feeling refreshed. It is really like a family there.

Recently joined and not impressed. Where to start? The actual gym area is tiny. The gym seems like an afterthought and I’m getting more and more turned off. Come at the wrong time of day, it’s sardines. There’s one of each piece of equipment, with the exception of treadmills, steps, ellipticals. With ppl swarming like ants, it’s tough to get a targeted workout. Some of the equipment is old and actually rusted. One thing I do enjoy is the indoor walking track. Great view of the continuous pickleball games taking up a large amount of space and time. Let’s talk about the adult gym floor. I’m glad there’s always something going on. Why weren’t the other Y locations taken into consideration with gym floor space? Why are there no courts at the other locations? Living near the Wilson and Steiner locations- why aren’t there more court and pool options? The kids have sports that could use more court space but it’s never enough for each sport to have sufficient time. Feels limited. For example, the summer volleyball had to cut a few practices bc there wasn’t anywhere to practice?? Also, There is no summer basketball bc there is no space. The bathrooms feel old and gross. The one by the pool is always one less stall bc it’s out of order. The sauna is relaxing but small and cramped after 4 ppl. It also feels a little old and dirty. The pool? Seems like there’s never enough life guards. Most times when we go, the big pool and the splash pad are the only ones open bc there aren’t enough guards. I bring older and younger kids so that stinks. Classes? Unless you’re apart of the cross-fit cult, classes are limited. I’d imagine some are more popular than others. I love body pump. Every time I try to go to the ONE morning class, it’s packed to sardines. Awful! No space to even stretch out good. Frustrating bc there aren’t any more morning classes offered. I don’t understand how a gym this popular has so many issues.
