Wilmington Preschool Of The Arts

We have had such a positive experience with this preschool. My son absolutely loves going to school each day, he even asks me to go on weekends! He has been in three classrooms with this school- the 2's, 3's, and 4's. Each classroom has been amazing. He has met the best of friends and adores his teachers.The staff and teachers put so much care into each child, and it shows. We are moving out of town soon and are so sad to leave this school! We wish we could take WPA with us. It has truly been a saving grace. If you are looking for a trusting, enriching, safe space for your child- I could not recommend this space more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of my little one!

Heads up: long, detailed review First and foremost, I’d like to start by saying that this place is genuinely amazing and that’s the VERY least I could say about this place. The director Ms.Missy is nothing but patient, kind, compassionate, and understanding. This lady is always willing to work with you, always willing to spark up a conversation with you and listen to you and whatever you have going on in your life. She is far from judgmental. It’s 8am and she’s helping me come up with recipes about pork loin. She is accommodating and she cares deeply about the facility and the children that attend. She’s very selective of the staff she chooses to hire and goes through great lengths to make sure she picks people who will teach and protect your children. She’s the person I trust most with my children if something were to ever happen to me. My sons teacher Ms. Katelyn S. is the most patient and kind person ever! She has such a colorful and beautiful personality but somehow very calm and understanding. She takes every child’s personality as they come and she works with them. I have never once seen her in a bad mood or unwilling to deal with with my son’s different emotions he goes through everyday. She is the person you want being around your children while you’re away. My daughters Teacher Ms. Madison K. All my of my thoughts and emotions about Madison won’t fit in one review. My daughter loves her and she adores every child that she comes across. My daughter went through a difficult time recently and my daughter was able to confide in Madison and think of her as a safe person to talk to about difficult and good things. I told Madison 1 time that I was trying to test my daughter to see if she’d do well with attending kindergarten early and that was all I had to do. Madison took that information and ran with it completely! She gives my daughter work sheetz that emphasize what they teach in kindergarten and she sees that my daughter likes challenges and likes keeping her mind busy and she doesn’t ignore that, she goes more than the extra mile to help my daughter. She is nothing short of amazing and nurturing. Other teachers I’d like to recognize in this review are dakota and Carla. My daughter is not where she’s at today without their help. Every child loves Dakota and gravitates towards her. She’s loving and fun. Carla is such a good parental figure for children. She’s understanding and patient and gives feedback when needed. Carla is the 2nd mom your child needs when they’re at this facility. I could never see myself taking my children anywhere else. I’d be doing my children a disservice if I left this place.

I highly recommend this preschool, the teachers are amazing, Ms. Maddie, Ms. Celia and Ms. Karla are definitely amazing teachers. The school is clean, well organized and they really care for the wellbeing of my child. I moved my daughter recently from another preschool due to violence. Finding WPA was a lifesaver!!!! We feel confident that our daughter is safe and in good hands with the teachers. Even my pediatrician recommended them!! Amazing school!!! Love them

WPA has been wonderful with my toddler. The staff are very good at communicating class plans, happenings, events. They’ve included my child fully into the classroom experience. She’s made so many friends. Is learning more and more every day. She’s excited when she arrives and happy when I pick her up. The school has a wonderful curriculum, talented teachers and staff. My girl can feel the love and solid structure they provide. We look forward to her continuing her journey here. If you are looking for a phenomenal preschool experience you really want to put this school on the list!

We absolutely adore Wilmington Preschool of the Arts! Our daughters are always so joyful and enthusiastic about the activities they participate in. They come home with the biggest smiles on their faces. We have a special appreciation for all the teachers, especially Cindy, Victoria, Estefania, and Allison. Thank you for everything you do!
