What Parents Say
Note: Reviews are for Westside Baptist Church, not a daycare facility. Parents praise the church community, pastoral leadership, and welcoming atmosphere. The facility offers multiple service times and youth/sports activities.
From solid pastoral leadership to a loving, supportive congregation, Westside has become my new home and I encourage you, if you're looking for a church that will feed your spirit, and encourage your soul, Westside is worth the visit. The youth group is a great grip of kids and the men's ministry has become a second family to me. If you find yourself seeking a church family, I recommend you give us a try.
The church website is horrible in that it indicates you are Closed on Sunday. Please publish your services on the first photo And on your hours You should have your Website put that First and then office hours below. I love the church. It is the most important part of the website that is lacking.
They held a Christian concert here. All volunteers were extremely friendly and helpful.
It can be hard these days to find a good church with sound doctrine, theology, and character within the church but I believe my family and I have found it!! We love this church and the community it provides! We had a family member go missing after church this past Sunday and without hesitation they got a group of people praying and ready to look. They truly exhibit what it means to be a brother and sister in Christ and to be apart of the body of Christ. I’m so grateful I found this church and the community within ♥️ Keep serving the Lord the way you do, y’all !
My family attended a service there in November of 2018. It was the Sunday after thanksgiving. The service, sermon, and atmosphere were all pleasant and easy to join in on. I honestly felt that the sermon was a bit generic however and demonstrated a lack of doctrinal depth. We did not feel very welcomed as a family either. It was odd. We are a family of six. Two teenagers an elementary student, and a toddler. No one said anything to us about being visitors or even tried to connect with us to see why we were there. It was really odd. I honestly thought as visitors at a church like this we would be reached out to. We were not looking for a new home church or anything. We were in the area celebrating thanksgiving. I can say that if what we experienced is typical, then there are some individuals that the church is failing to reach. I’m not offended, don’t get me wrong. I’m sure there are many great things this church is doing, but I hope that we were not the typical visitors.
