In from out of town and posting to recognize the incredible hurricane relief efforts FUMC is coordinating for the local community. Their leadership and organization is making a huge difference to mobilize volunteers each day working to do as much good as they can for as many as need it. These moments test our faith, but also bring us together, and thanks to FUMC people are seeing and experiencing the goodness of the Lord at a time where they need it. Way to go, and thanks for all you're doing!
This is the most community involved, and interactive church we have ever attended.The pastor challenges us every week, and our small group Sunday School class have become the best friends we have ever had. Plus, the Music program is amazing.
We've been members here for over 20 years, and have never been part of a more loving and caring church family. Whether your preference is for a wonderful contemporary service or a traditional service with full choir, organ, and liturgy- you could not find a better church home. More importantly, all have the opportunity for service through many local, national and international ministries.
Have been visiting FUM since my move to Waynesville last summer. The people are friendly, the music is wonderful and the pastor inspiring! Am currently in the orientation class learning more about the church history, missions, ministries, etc. and will most likely make this my permanent church home.
