I did not have a good feeling about this place after 2-3 days. First, this place seems too unorganized. When it comes to helping with potty traing this place let's your child pee in their underwear 3-4 times before changing them. They have you sign documents but don't give you a copy of what you signed, so you could of signed anything. I'm not understanding why they couldn't print it out right after I signed it. Instead they made excuses eveytime I tried to get a copy of what I signed. My son wasn't really eating here but they never tried to give him something different so he could eat something. On the 3rd day my son said his head hurt and he fell outside and that someone had both hands on his face moving his face in a side to side motion. I emailed both of his teachers but only one responded which was a red flag. Everyone kept saying oh he must have not slept or eaten enough which is also a red flag. When we got there the lady already knew about it so either they monitor their employee's emails or the guilty parties told them or it could be both. My son started saying shut up/ shush up and sit down so I'm guessing one or both teachers were saying that. I did not like the fact that I had to wait 2 weeks/longer to be able to use the parent portal and keep up with my child. In reality they don't want to waist time setting everything up if you don't end up staying. So much didn't make sense or sit right with us and I feel like we have been told a few lies. They wanted to know why we were withdrawing him as if they really cared. This place says that since the program is free parents are obligated to help them do their jobs basically. The 3rd day they had a meeting to chose one parent to be a chair person and another to be a assistant chair person. They had to review the reason(complaint) I withdrew my child before withdrawing him but they finally did but no one called or emailed me so I don't understand why the withdrawal couldn't be immediately done they same day I requested the withdrawal.
Excellent Program!!! kids learn a lot , Plus your 3-5yr old will be full time in school learning becoming independent. Specially for us working parents that cannot do half day pre- school this is a good opportunity. for you to go to work and be able to come pick up your kids. My two oldest were in these program and they love it. You should try it!! There is a waiting list, So Hurry and ask if you qualify for these Free services. That not every one qualifies depend on your Annual Gross.
Love the headstart program my son learned so much while attending the program and everyone there is so caring for your and your childs needs.
