Filter reviews to the lowest and read and believe them all!! If you love your child do not allow this place to have them or you will regret it. Extremely unprofessional, messy financials, food is terrible, staff untrained & backgrounds are sketchy, Director incapable…it’s all just a mess since ownership was transferred. Horrible business decision in that it used to be a great facility. Parents?! If you’ve read this far? You’ve been warned. Keep your babies home and hire a caregiver or just search elsewhere!

This daycare was great when it was West Cobb Prep Academy my child where with them for 2 years however, the transition was awful very unprofessional inconsistent staff. They are not trained to understand or know how to deal with any child with disabilities and have been reported to the department of learning for neglect. I would not put your children in the center. The directors Or even unprofessional and a joke when you address any issues to them, things are swept under the rug at the center.

We couldn’t be happier with the progress and development of our children thanks to the wonderful and loving educators at West Cobb Prep. It’s absolutely the best value in Metro Atlanta for an Accredited Education based School/“day care” for infants - 1st Grade. The director and staff are easy to work with, clearly love the children, and keep the needs of our children (collectively all the children who attend) top of mind everyday. We left Primrose (which we were happy with) for this independently operated Academy due to proximity and would never consider sending them anywhere else. They also have the most family friendly policies we have run across … such as earning a weeks vacation for each child after attending for 1 year (meaning when we vacation this year , we aren’t paying for that week) , they host parent’s night out for after hours group baby sitting, they routinely hold on-site festivals and events to build community among the parents staff and kids (Shout-out for the annual Sweethearts Dance hosted at the Smyrna Community Center) It’s the most community centric childcare establishment we’ve seen. Anyone who is lucky enough to have stumbled upon this gem of an institution should be proud of the education and care their children are receiving.

First things first, the place is clean and the staff overall is friendly and supportive. The private PreK curriculum is top notch and the support teachers in the class are great. However if you have a child in the class, be prepared for the lead teacher to gossip about you to other parents and to gossip and talk about the other parents. Also expect that your child will be considered “special” and not in a good way if they exhibit atypical behavior such as being too quiet or too shy or an advanced learner. The school is great overall but the Private PreK teacher may not have your child’s best interest at heart. I would suggest you follow your gut if something feels off.

Our kids have been attending WCP since the middle of pandemic. We have two kids there went from infant class all the way to PreK. And we love it. The moment we went for the tour, we admire the facility that is so well built. There's so much space for each classroom and the resources were consistent and abundant. The playground was spacious and clean. You don't see dated equipment. The school is kept so well. We are very good at keeping engaged with the kids teachers so we never had any issues with communications. There were times my kids had separation anxiety when I dropped off and the teachers really stepped in to help. Someone is always at the front and taking calls so we never had issues reaching someone. They are not just a play focused Preschool/PreK (private), they do have a strong academic curriculum which we love. I highly recommend WCP for anyone looking for infant care to PreK. I've seen a pretty consistent staff around the classes and they also try to pair a Spanish teacher in each classroom as well so the kids will have consistent exposure to the language. We love it there. I just wish I can keep them there through middle school :) thank you for taking care of our kids.
