I am pleased to recommend Kid’s Galaxy of Marietta, where my 16-month-old grandson has been enrolled in daycare for over a year. Their method of education utilizes Montessori philosophy and materials, and I am keen on the fact that Shaheen (Shine), the owner/director of the facility, is on site and rotating through the classrooms regularly. Shine is phenomenal, and her spirit, energy, and enthusiasm travel through the staff and children. The multicultural demographics at Kid's Galaxy, encompassing both staff and students, makes the environment diverse and exciting. Ms. Judy, the infant lead caregiver and my grandson's first teacher, possesses a magical touch to make every infant feel loved and secure in her classroom. In the toddler room, Ms. Otillia and Ms. Marinel demonstrate their dedication to each child’s sensitive periods of learning with a passionate devotion to individual needs. Communication with staff always feels open and inviting to any questions or concerns, and parents are kept informed and reassured daily using Brightwheel to share daily activity photos/videos, intake/output meal entries, naps, and other pertinent details. Safety is a top priority at Kid’s Galaxy, with secure entry/exit procedures, regularly sanitized classrooms, and close monitoring of potential nasty 'bugs' entering the facility, with appropriate protocol when necessary. Finally, the nutritious meals prepared on site, with special attention to healthy and tasty selections, is another major plus. At Kid's Galaxy, my grandson starts each school day with a smile on his face at the warm welcome and hugs from the staff at check-in, and the positivity continues throughout the day thru the socialization and camaraderie with his classmates, who inspire and motivate him. We feel so fortunate to have found this daycare for our daughters, our youngest started at age three. From the very beginning, the level of care and attention has been far beyond what you typically expect from a childcare center. The owner, Shaheen, has created a place that is not only safe and nurturing for children but also supportive for families as a whole. Her commitment shows in everything she does—from the long hours she personally puts in, to the thoughtful way she vets her staff to ensure they are truly the right fit for the children. You can tell she sets very high standards, and it shows in how kind, patient, and skilled every teacher is. What makes this daycare stand out is the way the programs are designed not just for the children’s growth, but also to equip parents with the tools and confidence to support their kids at home. That kind of holistic approach is rare, and it has made such a positive difference for our family. Shaheen goes above and beyond in every sense. My experience with Kids Galaxy was incredible. My daughter studied P-K with them, and this was essential to start her school journey because she received quality teaching and all the emotional support they provide to make the child feel safe and welcomed. The team was always very attentive and helpful, especially Mrs. Shaheen, she is wonderful.

Shaheen is incredibly kind and educated on children’s needs. She is respectful and does what is best for the children in charge of her care. Miss Judy, the infant room teacher, has a special touch with babies and we always picked up our child happy and well cared for. They are also really great about posting pictures throughout the day, which we loved. Thanks for making our transition to daycare easier as first time parents, KG!

My daughter attended Kid’s Galaxy Marietta from ages 3-5 until she started Kindergarten. Prior to that, she was attending a well-known, expensive, private preschool. The difference is night and day. The other school did not even compare. I was blown away by the individualized treatment, care, and love she received at Kid’s Galaxy and at an affordable price. She came home happy on a daily basis and learned so many things in such a short time! Ms. Shaheen is incredible and truly cares about the students and families. I could not recommend this place enough! We will continue to use them during school breaks and my daughter is already looking forward to it.
