Our kiddo has been attending North Wellington for 2+ years now. Here's an honest, up to date review for those considering this place - Absolutely yes. There was a period where the staff seemed to rotate until all the right pegs fell in the right holes. Our director now [Diane] is wonderful and VERY engaged. She's been committed to really maximizing potential of the staff and the kids, and there's been quite a bit of renovation as well which is awesome to see. We've always felt safe dropping our kid off, and Ms. Pam & Ms. Kari run an excellent food program, making breakfast & drop off fun every morning. Ms. Hannah has always been amazing, and now with Ms. Karina I'm afraid the kids are going to skip VPK and go right to kindergarten! Seriously, it's not "pop them in front of a screen" type of daycare; they do daily activities, counting, geography, science, writing and spelling skills, daily arts & crafts, you get the idea. Plus the social interaction aspect and the benefits of that for kids growing up, all while the staff is always present. From the awesome Halloween trunk-or-treats to the holiday parties, parent appreciation days, picture days; they really do an overall fantastic job.

Tonight we had orientation for Grayson, I’ve never seen the look of love about kids the way I did tonight. The teachers were enthusiastic about staying late to meet parents. They are the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. We couldn’t have been more happy with our decision to come to Wellington. They have become a part of our family. I recommend this place! I know the kids are loved and cared for. The kids don’t just play with either, at 3 years old they are signing songs I wouldn’t of thought, like the days of the week or months in the year. I could go on and on about the amazing things this class is doing. Please feel free to reach out to me and I’ll tell you how happy we are with our decision to come to Wellington!

My children have come to this place for years. It went down hill very fast the past few years. The owner treats the employees like garbage so they end up quitting. No familiar faces are consistent. They overcharge and I would definitely look elsewhere. If you want your child to succeed go somewhere else. The director was great as well as the second one. They are a lot of the reason I stayed.They left due to the owner..Don’t waste your time or your money. Plenty of centers out there

Do NOT send your kids here. My daughter was enrolled for 6 months multiple incident reports of her getting bit. They combine classrooms together because low staffing and the front desk people could care less to get up and go help them. Not to mention I did everything right filled out my daughters 2 week withdrawal notice as it says to do and the handbook also says your deposit will be used for your last week and the director confirmed with me that was true until her last week they charged my account full price again and was told it was a “human mistake” and I’d have to wait for a check in the mail. 😅 Just please do yourself a favor and stay away. I am talking about north cape location!

I love my son's school!! My son is 4 and had only been in daycare once for about 3 months prior to starting at Wellington. My husband and I wanted to keep him at home as long as possible because trusting someone else to care for your child is hard right? Well we did research and found great reviews for Wellington...no wonder why, they are WONDERFUL!!! On 3rd day of school the staff already new my son's name, they are all so sweet and kid friendly, the teachers are spectacular, it's always clean, I could go on & on. My son has learned so much in just 3 weeks, it's incredible and he LOVES it! If you're worried about leaving your child in daycare, please trust me when I say I've been there and understand and this is why I wrote this review so that any parent who feels this way reads this and gets a glimpse of hope. Wellington Academy is the greatest!
