Webster Child Care Center At Laclede Groves

We absolutely love Webster Child Care. Our oldest is getting ready to graduate from Preschool and is so well prepared to start Kindergarten. He loves his teachers and the friends he's made here. This school has taught our children so much about not only academic topics but behavioral practices, being kind and inclusive. They even helped my son learn to try new foods in a fun and supportive environment! Having two Covid babies we were really happy with how the center managed policies to help keep our kids safe at all times. A few of my favorite things about the school are the binders we get every 6 months with pictures and artwork that showcases their time there. They get tons of outdoor play all year long. The student/ teacher ratio is very low so each child gets a lot of support and individualized attention. And lastly I love that the kids get to have events and interactions with the retirement community next door. Getting to interact with the senior community has been so beneficial for my son. They love spending time with their "Grand-friends". Highly recommend Webster Child Care!

Our daughter has been at WCCC for 4 years. We toured about 10 places before choosing Webster for several reasons. The outside spaces are the best in the entire metro St Louis area. The 3:1 ratio in the infants/toddlers rooms is better than the required ratio. It is clean, well-run, with lots of positive energy from staff and kids. There are many opportunities for parents to get involved and engaged in the community. The staff has always been responsive to our needs and concerns about our child. Over the last couple of years they have worked to offer healthier menus and more fresh foods. They demonstrate effective communication to parents and always put the safety, education, and social and emotional well-being of our daughter first. We truly believe that our daughter is in a nurturing environment and always feel that she is with adults that genuinely care about her and our family.

My children have attended WCCC from 2009-2015 and we are sincerely blessed by the supportive teachers and staff (and other families) in that community. Our children have had such amazing experiences, and they have made it possible for us as working parents to to feel relief and security in entrusting care of our little ones. We will miss the center when our youngest moves on to Kindergarten this fall but I KNOW we'll be back for a visit.

This facility has really been fantastic. I was worried because there are a lot of children but my son is really cared about on an individual basis. My 2 year old son is the only Jewish child but they had everyone learn about Hanukkah and put up a menorah and tailored the holiday crafts to include him. They are also wonderful about special diet needs,etc. They always have lots of indoor and outdoor activities. He LOVES his teacher, Sally, and misses her on his day off. He has several friends and doesn't want to stop playing at the end of the day. This place is just run very well overall. Highly recommend.

This Center has been a god send for our family. Both our children have attended since they were 10 weeks old. The staff and teachers are an extension of our family and love our children as much as we do. Each day, when we drop off our children we do so with full confidence and trust in the WCCC teachers and staff. They care for our children as if they are their own, becoming an extension of our family. The environment and culture is nurturing, attentive and mindful of each child’s individual needs and safety. WCCC has been in our community for 40 years and has an impeccable reputation and one of the most tenured staff in the area.
