Went to tour this facility. The director was very kind and personable and the office assistant as well. Cleanliness is not of the utmost importance. Then the teacher in the infant room did not see us when we came to tour her classroom and she yelled to a literal baby. “MOVE, I told you stay out of my way!” She looked so angry and was taking it out on the baby. A literal baby. I asked the director if she was talking to a child. Obviously rhetorically, bc I can see and hear, and the director responded no. I said well who is she talking to???? The director was so embarrassed. She told me the teacher wasn’t going to be there for long. Hopefully she isn’t there anymore. She was a light skin women with long soft locs. The teachers in the other two classrooms were kind and attentive.
My kids have been going to this center for over a year and they love it. Every time they transition into a new class, there is a warming up period where they go to the new classroom for a week or so to get accustomed to it. I love this process because it makes the transition easier. The teachers are warm and kind and I've never had a complaint about any of them. The new director (Ms. Kay) treats you with respect and your kids aren't just an enrollment number. The assistant director (Ms. Alexis) is just as respectful and kind. If there is an issue, they will let you know immediately. I don't worry about my kids when they are there. The staff is competent and perform their duties well. They've all taken time to get to know my kids personally ((Even the teachers who aren't directly responsible for my kids know them)). I would recommend that everyone who is looking for care to go in and have a look and see what they have to offer. I don't have a picture but it's always been a really clean facility.
Thank you for taking care of my first born. If we hadn’t of moved, we would’ve stayed for the long haul. Dedicated staff who love their kiddos. My daughter was always so excited to see a familiar face each day other than mine. Highly recommend!!
