What Parents Say
Parents praise Waynesboro Family YMCA for its welcoming staff, clean facilities, and variety of programs for children and adults. The facility offers good value with multiple exercise options, sports facilities, and reliable childcare. Recent renovations have improved the lobby and weight rooms.
This is a good place with great people. It is an older facility, but has everything I need...Update...in 2024, the lobby and weight rooms were renovated. No frills like saunas or steam rooms, but all the weights, cardio and machines you need. There are two gyms for basketball or other sports, a studio for classes, and a pool. Locker rooms and showers are in need of renovation, but sounds like plans are in the works for that. Staff are generally responsive to requests and concerns, and I am certainly pleased with the value of my membership. I like that it is not often crowded, and I can usually find a time to workout without a lot of people competing for machines. This is not the case at most other facilities.
Love it wish they had workouts for the younger kid's getting ready for football or any other sport's besides just basketball and the pool
My 3 year old son came for our first time today! He went to the kids room and I took an amazing yoga class! Kudos to the staff for being so welcoming and the Yoga Fusion class will be one I go to every Friday morning :-)
If you have a chance-participate in one of Kristi’s classes. She manages to hold your interest, have fun, and get a great workout all at the same time! She makes exercise fun!! Highly recommend all classes she instructs:)
Awesome place to work out, play different sports, very kid friendly, plenty things for the teenagers to do,also the environment is just so peaceful an the people are always smiling just a very strong peace for your soul!
