⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Over the last 14 years between my two kids, I have used 4-5 daycare centers. This is BY FAR the BEST daycare either of my children have ever gone to. School age has field trips twice a week over the summer at no extra cost. His teachers are so kind and friendly and always greet us with a smile. Overall, I never have to worry how he is being treated while I’m at work and THAT, is peace of mind. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I see my kids happy and tired from playing. Helps us parents a lot, good staff.
At first, I thought this place was great and friendly and perfect for my son. Unfortunately, he wasn’t even there a year due to multiple issues. 1. He was constantly coming home with marks and I was told “I don’t know how he got them”, but they filled out forms for him pulling a toy on himself. 2. My son is very picky about his company. He only really liked 1 person there until they left. Multiple times, when he had a hard time saying bye (he was 1- 1 1/2 during the time), a few people just took him out of my arms which can be very traumatic to a young child. 3. I explained to the director that I was changing jobs and it would take a little to get back on my feet, and I got behind, as I said I more than likely would because we all know those first couple months between jobs is very difficult. Instead of working with me on how to get it back on track (I explained I was applying for subsidy), they increased my sons rates. By $75. Not everyone’s. Just “a few people who are behind”. So how is that going to help the debt? And then I was told that if they didn’t have the money by that night, he would be dropped. 4. I have heard multiple adults yelling at the children. 5. My son was constantly sick. I don’t think they clean as much and as well as I was told by multiple people. I do not recommend this place. You’re better off finding an in home babysitter.
My son went to daycare here for a period of time and then transitioned to their preschool program (State program). He had some problems in the actual daycare, but we resolved them once we spoke with the director directly. Since he has been in the preschool, he's been doing great! The director is always friendly and willing to help, in my experience. There are obviously areas for improvement, similar to most places, but overall, we like the Waynesboro Daycare Center.
The center is under new management and staff. When I pulled him out he went to another center that ultimately closed, then found other daycare that didn't work out. My son is back at the center and has been since November of 2018. He is thriving, happy and doing really well. If I have any issues that cannot be resolved with the staff, the director has been more than helpful. He's doing well, loves his teacher and his classmates.
