This pre school was hands down the best experience for my son, he learned so much and was advanced by the time he got to kindergarten in public school. To this day (he's 10 yrs old now) he still talks about his great memories at this pre school. They took great care of him, good attention to detail and communication to me about issues or activities available, lots of great science and art experiences and lessons. He could write his name, recognize letters, colors and shapes.. He recognized words because they practiced with him. He had homework daily to get him ready for kindergarten. He was there from 2 years old to 5 years old and each teacher took the time to understand him and know him and help him grow. No it's not a fancy looking Montessori but it's got great quality teachers and a great learning structure which helped my child grow successfully. Which I think is better than the Montessori's I've seen around Visalia and I really researched. Thank you to all the staff and teacher Patty for all the great memories that my son has because of all your hard work at village pre school.
While on a tour of the school, my husband and I saw a teacher grab a child by the face. I would not feel comfortable sending my child here, and neither should you.
