Village Babies was my daughter's first care experience. She started at 11 months, and, at first, she was scared and overwhelmed. In the loving care of the fabulous Village Babies teachers, she has blossomed, and now toddles happily into the classroom at morning drop off. We get photos of her everyday on the Tadpoles app, and each classroom has a camera so helicopter parents can check in frequently. The classrooms are tidy, engaging, and safe, and many of her loving teachers have more than a decade of experience. My only wish was that VB had more outdoor nature space, but when the weather is nice, they do stroll to the park down the street.
We've had our 1.5 year old daughter at Village Babies since she was 11 months old, and we couldn't be happier! The teachers are all wonderful and genuinely love and care about my daughter, and the staff and administration is incredibly caring and communicative. They've also done an impressive job making the best of with COVID closures and staff shortages. As a first time mom, I was nervous about sending my child to daycare, but it was such a good decision, and she (and we!) has benefitted tremendously from Village Babies.
We started our daughter at Village Babies when she was just over a year old, in the fall of 2020 - a time when it was very scary to start a new daycare! The staff at VB was so welcoming, and their COVID/General Health & Safety Protocols were, and still are, top notch. I could tell instantly that the teachers truly cared about the children in their care, and my daughter seemed genuinely excited to head to school each morning. Fast forward a year and a half, and my almost three year old is still thriving, and we now have our second daughter (9 months) in the baby class and she is also all smiles being dropped off and picked up each day. Like any daycare, there are of course minor inconveniences and challenges to be faced, but they are always handled well and there is a very open stream of communication with the staff.
We love Village Babies! Our son just graduated and we just started our newborn. The director, Stacy, is kind, compassionate and truly cares for the whole family. Ms. Renae, Ms. Olivia and Coach Travis put together a wonderful curriculum and are so thoughtful in the experience they create for the kids. Highly recommend!
