I started at work play in March 2018. I love it. I own a physical therapy practice and wellness center in the city and need to "work from home" 1 day a week and this is the perfect place to do while my daughter is getting amazing care downstairs in the infant room. Its such a great place to work instead of going to local coffee shop! I highly recommend the work part and the child care portion as well!
I joined Work and Play when my older child was starting preschool. At the time, I knew I wanted to re-enter the workforce and leverage my career, but I also knew that I wanted to work part-time and on my own. And, that's about all that I knew. Work and Play began as a space for me to figure out my career shift. And now, 2 1/2 years later, it is so much more: It's my office, my client meeting space, a place for networking, my adult-morning-chit-chat-and-venting space... AND: my dependable, awesome childcare space! Work and Play's flexible schedule made childcare easy for me, and the program is simply fantastic for my kids.
Joining Work and Play has been transformative for me and my business. It's the perfect shared work space. Beautiful environment, interesting people, amazing hosts, and great overall energy. Don't let the work/play concept throw you (as it did me). I was here four months before I even saw a child. The day care is downstairs through a separate entrance on the other side of the building...and the soundproofing is so solid you simply cannot here anything.
This place is my haven. I have two little kids and 3 entrepreneurial ventures. Working from home is technically possible, but not realistic, as the housework is always easier to do than to engage in work. So my lovely little desk away from home is where I not only feel professional, but get A LOT done. On top of that, the networking with others and cheerleading from others has been amazing. Work and Play is amazing. My little guy loves the Reggio Emilia style learning environment as well and loves coming to school every day at Work and Play. I could not be more thankful for meeting Deb and getting set up here.
Work and Play has been my full time workspace for the last 2 years and counting. I am thrilled with the atmosphere, people and flexibility of the space.
