PLEASE READ BEFORE TAKING YOUR CHILD! My daughter attended here for three years and I regret allowing her to stay there that long. Every one there has a really unpleasant attitude. They don't seem like they wanna be there at all. You can tell they are very mean to the kids there. We did everything to stay on their good side so that we wouldn't have to worry about them mistreating our daughter but it was all for nothing. Just about every other day my daughter would say Ms commander hit her or a kid hit her. I would pick her up and her hair/ hair bows were all messed up or missing and her clothes/shoes were also messed up as if no one was watching her like they just let her do whatever. She also was always sick like every week , they couldn't be sanitizing like they were supposed to. They also always changed teachers. There was always someone new there that I had no idea who they were or what they did. The icing on the cake for me was when my daughter said her teacher ms.jesse pinched her lips closed at nap time, I immediately stopped taking her. It took everything in me to not go up there and act crazy. Instead I'll warn others and report them to the necessary people. They honestly shouldn't be watching anyone's kids they obviously hate their jobs. I had been looking for a different daycare the entire time with no luck so I ended up having to keep her home. they have several centers so be aware. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!!!!
Let's just say I am glad to remove my child from this facility. In the beginning, it was OK until my child had unexplained marks on her body that no one could explain. They seem to have more kids than they do enthusiastic teachers!! They need new teachers. They say little remarks when they think no one is paying attention. Seems like a babysitting facility more so than educational. I wouldn't recommend unless you are looking for someone to babysit your kids while you run errands or whatever.
Victoria’s Academy is known for providing an exceptional daycare experience that goes beyond basic childcare.
DO NOT admit your precious baby into this place. Last week, I took a tour of the daycare. First, I didn't like the smell when I first walked in. None of the other teachers were friendly or welcoming. The supervisor, Ms. Fry, tried to be friendly but I could tell it was fake because she wanted my money. I walked in to the baby room and there I saw a little girl who was supposed to substitute for the two teachers who WEREN'T there. I don't have any certifications to work at a daycare so I know that the little girl, who looked no older than 15, didn't either. I know the little girl probably didn't know CPR. I could tell that the little girl was just thrown into the baby room because they knew I was coming to visit. It was time to pay but something didn't sit right with me, and I couldn't quite figure out what it was. I couldn't yet put my finger on it. I needed more time to look for other daycares for my 7-month old baby but unfortunately, I couldn't find any. Desperate, I went back to the daycare and gave the supervisor my money. I was under the assumption that I had to pay $236 altogether, and I only had money in increments of $20 so I ended up giving $240 and told her to keep the $4. Turns out, I had to pay $241 but she made me go back to the car for $1 after I was generous enough to let her keep the change I thought I was going to have left over. Now with this snow we had over the weekend, they closed Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday, after calling a billion times, I finally received an answer and asked for a refund. The supervisor lies and says that they were open Tuesday so that I can only be reimbursed for Monday. My mother and I rode by Tuesday, and they were still closed. Apparently, there was a delay yesterday as well as today. My point is that these people do what they want. They close down and have delays with NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER. This is a serious incovenience for parents who have jobs. Furthermore, something in my gut wasn't right. I didn't want my child to attend this daycare with a supervisor along with teachers who weren't welcoming and had a little girl who probably didn't know anything about watching babies, and in addition to that, you lie and say that the daycare was open when it wasn't? These are all of the things that tells me that these people are not reliable and also dirty. They just want your money. I am a first-time mother and my child has never had to attend daycare until now. All of these things are not making me feel at ease with this mom anxiety I am experiencing. I will be going back to get my money. Apparently, they need to see me face-to-face so that I can get a refund. I did not sign anything in writing stating that I would not be reimbursed. Thank the Lord up above that my mother saved me from having to take my baby boy to this "daycare". If I had the option of giving this place 0 stars, I would. From what I hear, they already have a track record of putting their hands on kids. As of now, all daycares in Winston-Salem and Kernersville do not have any openings. The fact that this one does says to me that YOU DO NOT WANT TO TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THIS PLACE. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND BEWARE! My child couldn't even make it in the door.
This daycare should be shutdown. They don’t watch the kids and all they care about is money they close and open when they want and act like they don’t have any reports remorse or experience they should have 1 star and should be closed. They are not good and can’t be trusted with your most precious possession.
