They make it very easy to sign up for classes. However that's where anything good ends. Figured taking two classes would be part-time. It's not. One single class online is taking almost 40 hours a week by itself. The second class is about 10. Working 40 hours a week on top of that and it's not even worth being alive anymore. 🤷 The teachers have no idea what's going on and aren't connected to reality in any way. You have to read a few chapters on your own as an assignment and then figure out all the work by yourself. There are no connections with the assignments and reality. If you think you're going to sign up for a community college and go part-time, go elsewhere. On a previous college, I had taken 16 credits per semester. Those 16 credits were less work combined than seven credits here.

GOALs- Oriented Students. Lacking in hint of a sense of entitlement..

I'm currently a student enrolled at VGCC. I love most of the faculty, and the classes are great. Some of the facilities are a little older or lacking but overall it's a good campus. I'd suggest it to anyone looking for continuing ed

I'm a student at VGCC. I enjoyed all of my teachers that I have had so far, I also have learned a great deal since I became a student. I would advise anyone that is trying to further their education come and join us you want regret it all.

This is my first semester at VGCC (Franklin Campus) and so far I am very satisfied. Whenever I need to call the school with a question I get an honest answer that is straight to the point. Faculty and staff are all very kind and genuinely want to help students succeed.
