Up With Kids Childcare Center

It is clear that the teachers here care about the kids. I receive regular tidbits and feedback. I haven't encountered a grumpy teacher or staff member in the past 5 months since we switched to Up with Kids after the closing of our previous facility. This facility has been flexible with us and responsive to our needs. I appreciate that they provide meals, this way I don't feel guilty about sending in food that my daughter is resisting and she is encouraged to try things by watching her peers consume the same foods!

Our kids have attended this daycare for going on 10 years! We have been blessed by the staff there! The director is always responsive and willing to help us out in a jam, as long as numbers allow, the staff is wonderful, the meals are provided and well-balanced, the facility is clean. We are both full time working parents and Up with Kids has been a huge part in helping to raise our children. The preschool program and teachers set our kids up for so much success in school, and we couldn't have been luckier to have them!

About a year ago my wife and I started sending our children to Up with Kids, and we couldn't be happier. They treat our children as we would, and we have yet to have a problem with this daycare. The cost is significantly lower here than at previous daycare centers we have used. It is obvious the staff goes above and beyond because every morning our kids are very excited to go to school and play with their friends.

Disappointed in the Director of the facility. My son currently attends a Keystone Star 5 Facility with the most amazing staff I've come in contact with. However, the daycare is one of the more expensive ones in the area. I was on the hunt for something a little less expensive. Upon research, I found "Up With Kids" was significantly cheaper but also sat at a Keystone Star 3. I made an appointment to visit the daycare and although it wasn't anything like the daycare he is currently at it was good enough to finish out until grade school. I paid a registration fee of $125 - I called to verfiy the amount due at the beginning of the month before he started because there's a 5% discount if paid in full at the begining of the month. I called several times - no answer - no call backs. I called the following day. No answer. Continued to call- finally the director answered with an abrasive tone and lack of patience. I was extremely turned off by her attitude and service. I am about to pay your organization $1,000 a month. Not only are you portaying poor customer service but the phones are never answered and messages seem to get lost in the shuffle. Everyone has off days and I am always willing to give individuals the benefit of doubt. However, how many times do you let it slide? I decided to not proceed with sending my son there because of how I was addressed. Completely unacceptable and I'd rather take the $125 non refundable fee and pay the extra money to send him to a facility where phones are answered, parents are treated respectfully, and my business with an organization is taken seriously. I had a friend withdraw from this daycare for similar reasons as well.
