I'm writing to express my heartfelt thanks for providing a spot for our family at your exceptional childcare center. After trying three local facilities, it's clear that yours stands head and shoulders above the rest. We deeply wish our daughter could have experienced your nurturing environment and outstanding teachers from the start. While I could list countless reasons why your center excels, what truly sets you apart is the alignment of your values with our own. In our eyes, that's invaluable. We can't recommend your center enough to other families! Our 20-month-old son has thrived with you, discovering something new every day and eagerly sharing his exciting progress at home. His sign language skills have blossomed, and we're delighted to catch up with his learning! The open communication from his teachers about his development and any concerns has been fantastic. The entire family feels welcome and involved in his journey. We're so grateful for the wonderful experience you've provided. If we find ourselves back in Moscow, ID, your center will undoubtedly be our top choice for childcare. Thank you for all that you do to nurture the growth of the precious children entrusted to your care.
I saw below a lot of comments about the director, but there's a new director and receptionist now and they're very friendly and accomodating. My son has had some awesome teachers/student teachers and loves going to "school" while his mom attends classes and works. I've always felt very comfortable with him at this Daycare and he learns so much and eats healthy and is given a schedule that helps his life style. I don't usually leave reviews but I don't think the current ones reflect the atmosphere now.
We absolutely love UICC- their teachers are very professional, and student:teacher ratios are excellent- in addition to lead classroom teachers there are also awesome student-teachers from the UI undergraduate childhood development program who are just stellar. Our child has been enrolled from a young age, and really looks forward to going each day. They build learning into everything that they do, based on childhood development needs, ranging from art to reading and numeric literacy to emotional intelligence.
I currently have my youngest attending this center, he really enjoys it, he is always excited for school and show and tell day. I have seen him in class and they teach them life skills which are cute to see little kids with adult manners. I did read the previous reviews, in my time here the staff has been truly professional and friendly.
One star is too generous, the new Director is highly unprofessional. The week of 19th December 2016 I was notified that a spot was open for my 2.5 year old for three weeks later. When I took my child to visit to get her ready for the big change I was told there was no longer a place. This was only four *days* before the start date! No explanation was offered,. No apology for not even having the courtesy to save me the trip in the snow. She did me a favour, to say the parents and staff at the centre looked unhappy would be an understatement!
