We absolutely love Union Preschool! We came across Union through a friend and scheduled a tour. Everything was explained in detail and we were shown all parts of the facility. Ever since our sons’s first day of school, we have felt so welcomed! We are grateful for the support from the staff- they truly care about the student’s growth and wellbeing. It became a place for our son to really thrive. He had such a positive experience- loves his teachers and the friends he made. He was there for the 3’s & 4’s programs but we were really thankful for their Jr. Kindergarten program. Our son was one of the youngest in his classes and we didn’t feel he was ready for Kindergarten just yet. The Jr. Kindergarten program really helped him prepare for those longer days of focusing on school work. We are so glad we had this option, when many preschools only offer 3’s & 4’s. Union Preschool is a gem in the heart of South STL City. We are now incredibly grateful alumni!
I cannot recommend Union Preschool highly enough. We have been a part of this community now for 5 years, with my daughter about to be the second of my children to graduate from preschool. The staff is excellent and welcoming. The school is always clean and feels very safe. The smaller class sizes allow for lots of attention to be paid to each child. My daughter’s days are filled with learning and play, and she comes home invigorated each day. I sincerely believe their curriculum more than adequately prepared my children for kindergarten. We had a seamless transition with my oldest into K and I am already seeing many signs that my daughter will be more than ready come next year. We are looking forward to being back with my youngest!
Our son attended Union for 3's 4's and Kindergarden there hands on approach made it feel more like a family than a school he knew every teacher and everyone knew him. the small class sized gave him a great jump start towards his future education. This is a great school that has been around for 40 years and has had several generations of family members attend.
