Karen is amazing, the daycare workers are all amazing my child is not a big fan of change and when we switched here in 2022 because of a move I looked at the DHS reports and was very happy with this place. When I toured I was even happier. Now almost 2 years later they’re some of the best care providers I could’ve ever asked for. Regardless of what the reviews say because of biases they treat my son amazingly. He talks about his teachers and how much fun they have. Even when he has a bad day they still treat him with love and affection. If you want a family feel for your daycare provider I would pick all star over and over again. So much so that as I move I’m staying close enough that I don’t have to move my son’s daycare.

I switched from an in home daycare to a center a few years ago. Since then I have noticed a huge growth in my son. Karen has helped me so much with his learning and getting us the help he needs. She brought in a therapist to work with him for PT, OT, and speech. She also brought up some behavioral issues he was having and since then we have been able to get his diagnosis and a start of an IEP for school. Karen and all the teachers are wonderful and truly caring!

My daughter attends All Star Daycare.. Out of curiosity I looked on Google reviews and see that there are some bed reviews with appalling claims. My daughter is 11 months old and has been going here since 3 months old. I took a chance and brought her here after a friend referred me. My daughter is LOVED. I emphasize this because they don't treat the children any different than they would their own. I know when I drop her off that I will be back to pick up a happy, healthy and cared for child. I've never had a bad experience here...and if something needed addressed or questions needed answered I know that Karen would handle any situation professionally and in a timely fashion. It makes me wonder if some of these bad reviews are from former employees that didn't work out for WHATEVER reason and are choosing to be petty and try to ruin someone's reputation. Trying to be unbiased reading the bad reviews. Maybe at one point there was a bad apple but if that was the case I am certain there was action taken to correct it for the safety and well being of all the children. I could speculate all day but honestly it seems like these bad reviews were posted with the wrong motives. It is hard to find good daycare let alone great daycare. I would recommend All Star to any and everyone that I know personally or don't know at all.. and it truly saddens me that people are trying to give them a bad name.

My daughters were watched by my sister for the first couple years and we’ve never had experience with a daycare before. I am so glad that we chose All Star Daycare & Preschool. It was a hard transition for my girls (and even me) and Karen and ALL of the teachers helped to make it as smooth as possible. They have such a great staff who have been patient and attentive. I’m so thankful and have nothing but positive things to say.

This is by far the best daycare in des moines. It's small so children get the individual attention they need. The director, Karen, is absolutely amazing. She's welcoming, wise, and understanding.
