New Horizon Academy

I dropped off my brother once to help my single mother of 3 and he was having a hard time. It’s tough that we need to be stretched so thin but trust me, we make do. My brother was pretty upset in the morning, but he got a huge smile when he saw Miss Ashlyn. She seriously has such a way of treating the kids with respect and appreciating every single one. Safe to say that I wouldn’t know where we would be without the entire friendly staff being so quick to help and care for my brother. Strongly recommend.

A separation from my partner created a situation where I had to place my newborn in daycare. His first experience at 3 months old was a horrible one. His second daycare worked with my budget but he would cry every time I would leave him, breaking my heart all the time. We found New Horizon and it has changed all of our lives. He is excited when he realizes we're pulling up to the school. When I drop him off to his room he cannot wait to play with his friends. His development has increased far beyond that I could ever imagine. I will forever sing the praises of New Horizon. The team of teachers and staff are kind, understanding, and they care so much for these children. I'm not sure about most parents but I wish I could spend the entire time with my children, however when you have to put them in daycare, a place like New Horizon is a dream and a blessing. I am forever thankful and grateful.

Our son started at Downtown New Horizon at almost 2.5 y.o. We were concerned about him adjusting initially as he’s always been at home with at least one full time parent, not even nanny. But we are very happy and impressed since he’s started here. Within 2-3 months he’s already learning new things at school, making friends. We never expected him to adjust so quickly, and we are grateful to the teachers and staff for the support. The teachers are very caring, energetic and friendly. You can fully trust them to take care of your little ones. They do all sorts of activities - fun, educational, hands-on, group etc. We love how they send his pictures everyday on the app, very reassuring. Facilities are great, good safety measures, very bright indoors and good play area. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a daycare/play school for their kids.

Our 1 year old daughter has gone to New Horizon Academy Downtown for about 3 months so far. I am highly impressed by the staff. They are kind, caring, enthusiastic, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. You can definitely trust that your child is not only safe but happy and making their developmental milestones. Administration has been pro-active about communication, efficient at addressing whatever comes up, and clearly values both staff and kids. The facility is impressive as well. I think it strikes a really good balance between high professional quality while remaining personable.

I have had a WONDERFUL experience here. My 14 month old goes to daycare here FT. The teachers in my child's class are SO kind, energetic, positive and competent. They are truly impressive. I feel like my child is being taken care of by people who are genuinely passionate about their work. The facility is also super bright and pretty with above average playgrounds. I love that they do art and sensory activities regularly with my child and that staff posts photos regularly on the app showing what kids are up to. If you are a working parent this place is a total gift.
