Why does the Church lights destroy the home owners ability to sleep. Kensington Lane homes that are directly behind the Church? The lights could be tilted down to focus on the Church parking lot- not directly into the homes . Sad and does not represent the character of a Christian . So many people in this subdivision are afraid of approaching the Church. Very sad. I will attend the next HOA meeting and address the City Council. What would Jesus do ?????
We had a great Morning Worshiping the Lord. Our daughter loved every thing about the church. The youth made her feel and (us as parent's) welcomed. We loved meeting new friends and seeing old friends. Thank You for making us feel apart of your family. Hope to Worship with you soon
We first visited 12th Street in June of this year. They was everyone has embraced our family has been beyond anything we've ever experienced. This is such a special place to live and learn about Christ. The teachings are always Christ centered and the staff is always friendly and willing to serve! 10/10 would recommend
Close parking, with full handicap access. Come as you are dress code, jeans and pull over seemed fine. Great service with very talented musicians and singers. Great preaching/worship service. Everyone makes you feel welcome.
If you are looking for a church to make you feel warm & fuzzy without knowing and applying the Word, look elsewhere. 12th Street Baptist is a family of believers who are striving together to hold ourselves accountable to God and his Word and to live out our faith in our day-to-day lives. This means taking hard looks at our opinions and biases and taking everything back to Scripture, where there are many uncomfortable yet necessary truths. We are always found wanting when we compare ourselves to God’s standard, but the Good News is that the grace of Jesus covers us as we are sanctified every day in our relationship with Him. We are an intentional church. Here, we get into theology; we ask hard questions; we dive into the nitty-gritty details of life and we apply what we’ve learned about God to our daily lives and relationships. Is it hard? Yes. Is it sometimes uncomfortable? Absolutely. But the point of our faith is not to be comfortable. It is to know the Truth and to lovingly live it out with the help and grace of Jesus Christ. And it is WORTH IT. If that’s not what you want, all the best to you in your search. But if you want a family of fellow sinners saved by grace who are all struggling together, held together by our faith and taking everything back to the Cross, then this may be the family for you.
