Tutor Time Childcare Learning Centers

I toured several daycares—including the other Tutor Time in Shelton—and many had great pricing and nice perks. But none of them connected with my son the way this Tutor Time did. The moment we walked in, Jiselle connected with him instantly, even helping him take off his coat, and in that moment I knew this was where I wanted my son to be. No place is perfect, and I’ve had a few disagreements here and there, but overall the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. EVERY teacher knows my son by name—as well as mine—and he’s only 2 years old yet knows every teacher’s name right back. That tells me he feels seen, safe, and loved. My son has had amazing teachers who care for him as if he were their own. Tutor Time holds a huge place in my heart because my son is my miracle rainbow baby, and they have truly helped ease so much of my anxiety. His current teacher, Ms. Jazzy, is incredible—we absolutely adore her. And the teachers he had before—Ms. Drea, Ms. Shanique, Ms. Crystal, and Ms. Susie—have all touched our family deeply, simply by the way my son lights up when he sees them. I can honestly say I wouldn’t recommend any other daycare to a fellow mom. Tutor Time has been a blessing for our family.

We love Tutor Time! Our son joined at just under four months and even at such a young age we did not feel nervous/anxious at all. He was getting the love and attention as if he was the only one in the room. As he has grown up, it is clear that he loves all of his teachers and can’t wait to go to school. Our son has hit so many milestones at Tutor Time, we truly feel like we are not alone as we navigate his growth and development. I was initially nervous that daycares only primarily watched children this young, but these development efforts started right when he enrolled. I credit a lot of the strides my son has taken socially, physically, and mentally to the thoughtfulness and consistency of the staff at Tutor Time. I was also pleasantly surprised that from the start of enrollment to present, everyone knows my entire family, even if we have never met. We are greeted immediately by staff who know our faces, names, and where our child is in the building. Knowing that everyone is probably quite stretched thin, the personal touch that the staff provides is both impressive and genuine. We are so happy with our experience with Tutor Time and look forward to staying with the Milford location for the foreseeable future!

I moved my daughter to this daycare less than a year ago because her speech wasn’t progressing as expected in her previous, smaller home-based program. Her pediatrician recommended placing her in a larger setting with children her age, and I’m so grateful we made that decision. Since joining Tutor Time, her speech has improved tremendously—she articulates her words more clearly, her vocabulary has grown, and even her penmanship has noticeably developed. Ms. Sarah has been absolutely wonderful, and my daughter is genuinely happy here. I love being able to see updates and photos throughout the day through the app, and the school consistently keeps parents informed and involved. Overall, we’ve had an excellent experience, and I truly appreciate the care and support this school provides.

My daughter has been attending Tutor Time for approximately one month now and my husband and I couldn't be more impressed with the daycare. It is extremely clean and well taken care of. The management have been very responsive to our needs and genuinely care about all of their families. My daughter had a bit of a rough start when we first enrolled at Tutor Time with behavioral issues and everyone from the management to her teacher made sure to help make her adjustment as smooth as possible. In addition to the above, Tutor Time also has a very nice outdoor playground, divided into two sections for the younger and older kids, as well as two large indoor play areas where the kids can get their sillies out during inclement weather. Her teacher, Miss Jill has been wonderful and my daughter absolutely loves her! Food (2 snacks and lunch) is also included in the price of tuition and diapers and I think wipes as well (although we are not in diapers anymore). The food is very nutritious and my daughter seems to enjoy everything offered to her. All in all, I am glad we made the switch to Tutor Time!

My 3yo twins have been at Tutor Time since they were 12 weeks old and we've been thrilled with the overall quality of care they've received and our experience with the staff. The director Jiselle is wonderful. The school is well run, organized, and the teachers are loving, caring individuals who seem to love what they do. It is a no-frills daycare, it's not fancy, but I have no desire to pay for extra bells and whistles that do not ultimately affect my children's experience. My girls love going to school and have loved all of their teachers. No complaints.
