By far this is a great daycare! They have have exceeded my expectations taking care of my son. Had great communication through out the day, updates about my sons day. Very happy with my experience at Tutor Time, the staff is great and the teachers are amazing, I can go to work and know my daughter is safe and in good hands. I was so hesitant putting her into daycare but so far its been a positive experience! Thank you tutor time deer valley for the love and care you give my little one💕
The new director, Sue is what ruins this place. The teachers are great but the director is who needs to be trained more. She lacks empathy, professionalism, and only views the children as a number/money. The teacher turnover rate is insane at this school, how can the children learn anything if there is never any stability.
Stay away. We have gone to this location for years without issues. Now all the staff has turned over and it is not the same place that it once was. Teachers are allowed to scream at your children and make them cry. Verbally abusive to a 9 year-old. Unacceptable. Was told the teacher is not good with older kids yet she is in the school-ager room for summer wonder camp. The director did not care.
I have been bringing my child here since she was 1 1/2 after moving out of the area from our former Tutor Time. There have been changes and growing pains over the years, but we’re here because the staff truly cares about our kid. Kiddo is 5 now and will be aging out, but we’d keep her here even with all the false accusations that have been flying around. The former director, Sarah, used to come in early every day to sit with our child when kiddo was new and having difficulty to adjusting to being at day care. The teachers and the new director, Pashion (and asst director CJ) continue to care, make our child and us feel welcome, and promptly address any concerns we have with care, compassion, and efficiency. We even came back to this center after briefly trying another different day care entirely—it’s night and day with the care our child has received. Take negative reviews with a grain of salt…there’s usually a lot more going on beneath the surface.
