Me and my wife took a tour of Tutor Time about a year and a half ago when we were looking into new daycares. We ended up going with another daycare due to how horrible we felt this place was. We nicknamed it the dungeon due to the fact that the lights were off in most rooms, they only had about 4 kids enrolled so only one class in the back had lights on even the hallway was dark. It felt like dropping our kids off at a prison for toddlers. Honestly we laughed the place off and it became a joke. Unknown to us shortly after we toured Tutor Time it took new ownership/management and they began drastically changing everything. Due to a situation at the center we chose we found ourselves looking back into daycares for our kids. We called Tutor Time and they had openings for our kids so we decided to come tour it as there are limited options in the area. When we arrived the facility had done a complete 180, we were welcomed into a very warm and welcoming lobby by some very friendly staff. During the tour I didn't even recognize the place, it was a night and day difference, no longer felt like a dungeon or a prison it felt like a warm and caring enviroment for our children. The Village is an entire colorful room dedicated to developmental play with buildings designed as fire stations, police stations, post office, etc. The outside area is massive and seperated by age but both areas are equally as impressive. Our kids for the first time look forward to school everyday and absolutely love the environment this place became. The staff and management have done an incredible job turning the facility around and I highly reccomend anyone and everyone to come here!

When we moved to Washington, my son had just turned 4. He had been with an at-home nanny his entire life, and as an only child, he was very attached to me. Moving to a new state where we didn’t know anyone, combined with starting daycare for the very first time, was emotional and nerve-wracking for both of us. From the very beginning, every single person here welcomed us with kindness, patience, and love. They didn’t just care for my son, they made both of us feel at home. They understood his nerves, his clinginess, and all the emotions that came with such a big life change, and they met him with warmth, compassion, and reassurance every single day. They say it takes a village, and this team truly became our village when we had no one else here. My son learned so much, grew in confidence, and flourished in ways that I will forever be grateful for. The love and care they gave him made all the difference, and he absolutely loved going every day. I want to give a special thank you to Ms. P, who went out of her way to care for me when I was sick. That level of compassion meant more to me than words can express, and it showed that they truly care about families, not just the children. Thank you as well to Mrs. Maria, Mrs. Angel, Ms. Monty, and Ms. Lizzie for always being so kind, welcoming, and supportive. And a very special thank you to Mrs. Kayla, my son absolutely loved and adored you. The bond you built with him means everything to me, and I will always be grateful knowing he had someone who cared for him so deeply. Leaving was incredibly hard for both of us. It truly hurt to say goodbye because you all became such an important part of our lives. We are deeply grateful to every single one of you and to the entire team. Thank you for being our village, for loving my son, and for giving us a home when we needed one most. Your impact on our family will stay with us forever.

Angel, Monty, and all of the staff are phenomenal! My daughter does not like new people. It was a rough start for her but everyone was so kind and comforting. My daughter absolutely loves going to school now! Not only do they care about her, they have helped teach her language skills in English and Spanish, they work on numbers and reading, and also their creative side! We will absolutely reccomend this school to anyone who asks. Thank you! ❤️

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! My little boy has been going here since he was 4months old and now he is in the toddlers class. We have not moved him out of this day care and have traveled from Tacoma to Lacey and back bc the staff are wonderful. My little boy loves them and they have not once treated us unkindly. If any issues did come up all it took was one conversation and it was fixed. Thankful and grateful for daycare I can trust.

Our child has been at Tutor Time since 9 months old and is now nearly 4 and I have never had a complaint about any part of her experience there. The staff are wonderful and have truly been a village who I trust to care for her while we work. They supported her with potty training, social and emotional skills and now that she is pre-k age, school readiness exposure. She loves going everyday and is sad during holiday breaks when she can’t go. We are so lucky to have Tutor Time as part of our child’s village.
