Truro Anglican Church

I have been going to church all my life mostly Catholic but changed to other churches as I moved around MD and VA. A few years back they tore down the church that I was attending while at the same time I was going through multiple surgeries and a lot of difficulties in my life. Last fall I went out walking one late afternoon feeling lost and alone when I happened to come upon the open doors of Truro church and felt drawn to enter, I was welcomed by the wife of one of the pastors, she prayed with me and that’s when I realized I needed that void filled with the Lord and found the perfect church to fill it. Now I look forward to every Sunday of worship and all the other events. It is truly a special church filled with love, hope and peace.

A wonderful Christ centered Anglican church. The people here are very welcoming and full of warm smiles. It just feels like a beautiful family you didn’t know you had. No matter the denomination just visit Truro and you’ll have an experience of a lifetime. They have a wonderful children’s church as well and I know it’s wonderful coz all the little ones and their teachers are always full of smiles.

Attend the early bird service @ 7:45. I get a lot of ther sermon. No pressure just the sense of feeling apart of and that I belong

I have visited this church for many years and have fond memories as our kids grew up there. You feel God's presence and worship is an honoring celebration of God's grace and Christ's love. Music is great. May God's hand always be on Truro and its ministers and ministries. Thank you Truro servants of God. This church is awesome! Everyone is really kind. Anyone is welcome to come check it out! There are many kids options during and after the service with people that have been trained to work with kids.
